A lonely sentinel owl sits on its perch overlooking ironforge. A magnificent city. Long forgotten by its hero’s. No ports to everywhere will never adorn the halls. A king sits on his throne forgotten. Why did Blizzard do the thing to such a large magnificent place. Blizzard please put portal ‘s in Ironforge the dwarves and gnomes need them. We want our city back. So please everyone pile into Ironforge and show your support.

Correction: no king has been seated on the throne since Magni “died” in the interim between Wrath and Cataclysm. Magni’s fate caused civil unrest in Ironforge, with Moira seizing the throne and putting the city under lockdown. Thankfully all-out civil war was averted by High King Varian, who founded the Council of Three Hammers.
It is a regency council that rules Ironforge until the heir, Dagran II, Queen Regent Moira and Emperor Thaurissan’s son, and Magni’s grandson, comes of age.
Until then, no king shall sit upon the throne of Ironforge.

I haven’t been to Iron Forge since BFA. Last time I was there I was on an Alliance SV Hunter randomly doing stuff on a target dummy and actually having fun with it. I need to go revisit just for nostalgia.
