Is it justified for a geared tank to claim ironfoe was ninja’d by another fury warrior in pre-raid bis? Obviously for fury pre raid it is a bigger upgrade.

If this is your character, Ironfoe is a really nice weapon until you can get the stronger raid weapons. You get mace weapon skill using it, which is huge for Warrior, and honestly I think Ironfoe is a lot better than many starter raid weapons. I could be wrong, though.
In all honesty, if the tank is geared in raid gear, you could use it far more than he could. Ironfoe is just too slow imo for tanking.
That’s exactly my point. I just dont see ironfoe being used in naxx or aq40. From what ive see online, its pre-raid bis if anything. Its a trophy drop because of it drop rate imo.
That’s exactly what it is. It’s pre-raid BiS for Fury. That’s pretty much it. It’s arguably worse even than Mirah’s Song.

It’s only a decent preBiS item at this point. There’s a good variety of entry level drops that are easier to get than Ironfoe and will outperform it now.

No loot rules = need if need, greed if greed. Even if he has arguably better weapons nothing’s stopping him for wanting to try out a mace spec.
How does “ninja” fit into this scenario? Both are warriors and the winner clearly needed it more anyways. Geared tank would just be a douche for taking it from the pre-bis no matter how rare it is.
I wouldn’t say that. It’s a fun status symbol weapon at this point.

Same for Dragons Call. If it dropped while I was helping someone clear, I’d roll on it, even with TF and HC equipped.
Ironfoe is only that good on alliance cause of the mace skill, for the horde to claim something like that was just pure greed.
