last boss on Iron docks is not fair with quaking. get knocked back then quaking kills the whole group. No way to avoid it or mitigate it. LOL
Don’t get me wrong I agree that it’s troll however there is a counter play to it. You can time the stomp and spread out accordingly. There are also two different spots you can hide and help stagger without quaking if you’re careful and aware of the situation. The dungeon however, is absolutely awful and in my humble opinion not made for mythic+. Time will tell I guess

Blizzard, make people immune to quaking while they are dealing with this mechanic. This is somehow actually worse than dealing with quaking when you go through portals in Soleah’s Gambit.

out of curiosity, what is the timing requirement for the stomp? this didn’t wreck our run tonight and we still timed without a wipe, but it was frustrating
Limited testing but the two times I did it without getting murdered by quaking was when we pulled immediately after quaking occurred and it all worked out timing wise. Can’t guarantee it will work for you but give it a try.
I think what you and everyone else is missing is the fact that this is even a thing that can happen. We really shouldn’t be having to worry about boss mechanics that you can’t stop pulling you and your whole group in and stunning you for the entire duration while the affix murders your whole team.

I did it a few more times today and at first I was under the impression that the stomp was HP based, but now I’m thinking it’s just timed… still experimenting with it but I may be wrong . Will keep you updated!
The stomp and barrage is time-based. I don’t remember offhand if the timer is from stomp to stomp, or if it’s from when he stops channelling to stomp, but it’s a timer.
The stomp occurs when the smaller boss hits 25%. You can throttle dps if you know Quaking is going to hit soon, which is on a 20 second timer.
Unless they’ve severely altered it between PTR and Live, you can kill Koramar without triggering the stomp, and Zoggosh doesn’t have to hit 25% for the stomp to trigger. Back in WoD days, you could even kill both before it happened.

They’re even using a boss mod that accurately includes a timer for Gronn Smash

Honestly, if you just sit and think about the quaking timing, being every 15 seconds, and the pull to the end of the boat is 30 seconds into the fight… it solves itself, no?
Just have to put some planning into when you pull, and it works out.
Probably. If you had consistent dps or something, I can see getting to pretty much the same level multiple times outside of outrageous proc RNG.
