Iridikron, Galakrond, and Murozond

Three villains that were being teased and built up as possible final bosses this expansion.

Turns out it’s only Fyrakk.

That is some splendid writing Blizzard.

we fought Iridikron. he lost and ran away. Chromie Thrall’d his Dragonsoul.

Yeah almost like Iridikron left his siblings to fend for themselves as he went off to do his actual plans

Did he lose? Chromie had to reset time and he was able to walk away with the artifact he sought for “The Habringer” to kill The Titans with.

And now Xal’atath has that artifact.

I liked Iridikron. I’m glad they didn’t kill or defeat all the villains. I think this is one way they could make the story better. If you have villains that we don’t defeat every raid tier because we need phat loot.

do you think he’ll assassinate Sargeras? and use his essence to revive the Jailer?

Boy, i should be a story writer.

The writing these days reminds me of those random episodes of Teen Titans (which is actually good btw) on CN. You know, one episode it’s about Slade, next it’s about some other random villain, you never really know what you’re going to get. Sometimes you get back to the main story, but often drift off into side stories. Fyrakk doesn’t actually feel like a final villain, feels like I missed his episodes which aired on days I wasn’t watching and randomly stumbled across his final episode or something.

Void often fights with Death so they ain’t friends.

Deios died distracting us while Iridikron used his Dragon Soul to steal Galakrond’s power so that the Void could awaken all the sleepers starting with the one shining Light upon Hallowfall.

Xal’atath intends to complete the awakening of the sleepers.

Knowing Presence whispers: Her dreams sing beneath the surface. Our dreams. Our song.

Automa Oracle Saezurah says thus:

“Her dreams sing beneath the surface. Quiet now, but her voice will awaken the others.”

We have heard her speaking to us through various Void-Corrupted beings saying things such as:

“I sleep… only to wake…”

“The tickle in your throat, the itch in your mind… I have always been with you.”

“Feel the twitch in your spine? That is where I exist”

“I reside within your lungs!”

“I will await you… in the dark…”

“Release me.”

“I only sleep.”

After all her ominous statements to us the sleeper will soon find herself going from sleeping to dead in The War Within making her words from her mouthpieces amount to nothing and her awakened brethren will find themselves joining her when they decide to make their own bid for Azeroth.

Judging by the expansion line up I think Xal’atath is gonna mess things up on the world so badly the Titans have no choice but to come back and deal with it, and fall into whatever trap her and Iridikron have planned.

Algalon was right…

On the matter of these sleepers we must also remember Xal’atath’s words on them:

I long for the day our masters can truly pass into this realm. You have only seen fragments, shadows; the faintest of echoes. Ask the Ethereals what one of these manifestations are capable of.

They are so busy being asleep they can only manifest Avatars in the Realm of Reality outside of their dreams with Dimensius being one of said Avatars!

Funny how one was sleeping in Reality needing someone to wake her up and she is going to die at our hands!

He did not lose, you are exactly right. Chrome reset the timeline so he never lost. Then we go beat what’s his face at the end and Iridikron peaces out with the Dragon Soul void thingy.

Indeed. I would not be surprised if The Titans trying to initiate the purge protocol on Azeroth like Alagon was going to ends up the main plot hook of The Last Titan.
