I’m sure QA won’t answer you, and they’re the only Blizzard representative you can count on reading Bug Reports. And when they do read Bug Reports, they generally don’t respond. Certainly not to debate loot policy.
If QA has internal information that Bornakk’s post was mistaken, they will open a bug fix ticket for the devs. If they have internal information that Bornakk’s post represents the official position, pointing out PR material to the contrary won’t change their mind.
