Ion just basically said to get good

then why does everyone on the forums push for harder content, eliminate the “bads” ect, ect, ect. Why does ION basically say to “get good” why is any idea intended to make the game more accesible for learning players always met with hatred from the community.

I think people are not challenged enough, so they will stay out of everyone else’s game. The game needs to be harder at the top end so people will let others be and let them play the game as well.

Well, yes they do. Harder content gives better rewards, as it always should, and better players are better-equipped to do harder content.

If you want that gear as well, start getting good.

I’m sure they’ll top those bosses, you don’t worry. I’d expect some encounters to get even more complex and ridiculous as time goes.

you missed the point entirely and skipped the word ‘huge’

they don’t need a big gear power delta, it just needs to be barely enough for them to care to chase it

For its time, nobody thought KJ would ever be topped. Uu’nat was seen by only a few hundred players but he certainly competed on that front. But Uu’nat and KJ were bosses that were overkill even as far as hard bosses went (and KJ was an extremely broken boss early on because he specifically wasn’t tested, either).

And here’s the other thing: Mythic KJ was not a complex boss. He just killed everyone if anyone messed up. It was a 14+ minute long boss fight that required everyone to not make a single mechanical error from start to the last 10% or so, because every single mechanic that could be messed up would kill the entire raid instantly. The boss was ludicrous, but Blizzard realized and still notes today that they made a lot of mistakes with that particular boss.

Hell, even when my guild at the time did it in a heavily-nerfed state I’d easily say it was by far the hardest boss I’ve ever done, and considering my handful of other CE titles I’d say that’s quite something.

If the main point continues to eliminate the “bads” who will be left to pay the bill?

someone has to pay for these servers, you guys just need to learn to get along with others.

btw… I am fine with how “good” I am, 10/10 Norm, 6/10 Heroic.

I personally cannot stand people like you who think everyone else should leave the game because they don’t meet up to your standards. and ION is wrong too for the same reason.

Where exactly did I say I want everyone else to leave the game? Where did Ion say that?

I want you to directly quote wherever I said “I want bad players to quit the game and never come back.” Because if you can’t find that anywhere you’re intentionally misinterpreting my responses to you because what I’m actually saying isn’t pushing the agenda you wish it was pushing.

Apparently Ion does not think pvp exists in World of Warcraft. What a

then riddle me this batman…
If you want to do M4 in premades, why is it you search for say 4, and get 3,4,5,13,14,15,23,24,25
BUT, if you want to do M14, and you only get 13,14, and 15

This is broken, they refuse to fix it, only reason I can come up with is ION wants “bads” to leave, if you can’t do a M10, you are not worth his time.

I only lump you in with this category because you defend ION.

the people completing mythic the first week it comes out aren’t complaining about it.

the people watching it then claming it’s easy are basically blowhards who should be ignored.

this.

Go to the target dummy and get a baseline DPS with your usual rotation. Next, take off your helm and neck to simulate a steep decline in ilvl and run the rotation again. I’m curious how much the gear will impact dps if the skill remains constant.

If Ion is telling us to “git guy” all I can say is the feeling is mutual.

I have been holding out hope since he came on he would eventually gain the skill to make the game even 50% of what the original devs did but he hasn’t In game design Metzen and their ilk is world first, and the current devs are the equivalent of WQ heroes hoping to get good enough for LFR.

Then the problem is a poorly designed system that allows a significant number of people to under perform. The game also has no built in tools to allow average players to know if if they are performing well or not given their current set of gear.

my god dude, seriously? you have a boulder sized chip on your shoulder.

if i search “14” then it’s going to return anything with “14” in it (or the two numbers on either side of it)

if I search “4” it’s going to return anything with a “4” in it.

I’ll let you think really hard on whether or not “14” has a “4” in it

it’s a bad and very basic search, but it’s not rocket science.

so the question I pose here, why do we have to get rid of these players, why can’t players co-exist? They don’t perform to your expectations, don’t invite them, if you don’t like grouping with random players don’t use LFD, LFG, or Premade group finder.

The problem with the system is it is continuously just increase the difficulty if people complain about “bads,” players have choices, and I think this approach is bad itself.

wow nice summation, in other words its broken, because it favors those who can complete 10 or higher

to make it fair, corrupt searches above 10 also, so they get bad results from other tiers like 2-9 and 21-29. Its BROKEN!

you might want to go back to logic school.

no they need to break the other tiers if they can’t fix it. why should someone get a clean search just because they look for a 10, corrupt your results with trash too.

Didn’t buy SL and so glad now. Ion is killing this game along with Blizzard/Actavision hope they’re happy.
