Confirmed listening guys! This time it’s confirmed they are listening.
Last expansion I’m pretty sure they heard us but they weren’t actually listening to what we were saying so this confirmation is really good news.
WoW is saved.

The problem is we tend to confuse listening with ‘doing what we want’. Just because someone listens in no way means they will do whatever it is you think they should do.
But who are they listening to?
No, that can’t be right see, because if they were listening to me they’d do what I want.
I can hear the golden chariots from here as the new dev team is arriving soon. The trumpets are not from the horizon on this very bright day.
God theirs ears must hurt from all the crying
Their hearts
They are listening to music?? if so what kind ?
Yea they’re listening
“git gud”
I am sure they have always been listening. However, they don’t act on what they hear. They often do something completely different.

I wonder if he likes the in-game feedback tool over forum feedback posts?
I hate the way his name is spelt. Ion just doesn’t look right.
There’s a quote I like to reference from a fairly famous author.
“You can trust your audience to identify what’s wrong with your work, but never to tell you how to fix it”
As a (non-blizz) software engineer I can attest to this. Users usual solution is simply to remove the thing they see as the problem. Whether that’s security controls that are mandatory or access they don’t have. They don’t have the visibility to see intent of a system.
That said, they will get extremely frustrated if they don’t see the vision of a system. It just becomes an impediment to them. To me that’s a major disconnect the wow devs could work on. That said, I don’t think the systems we have meet the intents or visions declared in the various interviews either. The sole exception being conduit energy which was intended deliberately to frustrate players.
Oh, definitely! Not excusing Blizzard at all, just saying that just because they haven’t deleted Torghast doesn’t mean they don’t recognize that you’re not having fun with it (in a general sense)
It’s doubtful they pay much attention to the forum. If they do read the forum I am sure they get a good chuckle out of it, I know I would if I were them because I do and I’m just a player.
That’s not bad advice, tbh.
Not a great one either.
Do you have better advice?
