Said it himself, they do not plan to let this turn into WoD. Should be believe him?
*The point is, does this mean they are going to go back to some kind of semblance of normal content release? If the gap between 9.1 & 9.2 is even close to the current cycle, the expansion will already be over a year old when it comes out.
The question wasn’t so much about 9.2 as much as it was about asking if we would end up with another WoD situation.
He specifically said there would be a 9.2 after that, which means concerns about how the game would turn out are somewhat alleviated.
Because you know, blizzard bad, wow dying, worst expac evah, ehrmagerd first time ever first patch taken this long - doooom, wow dead at last, all of the good blizz jumping sinking ship
(let’s forget about this whole pandemic thingy majingy possible being reason for delays)
How could it possibly end right now? The Jailer is not the final boss of 9.1. The story isn’t over until we deal with him so a 9.2 at least is obvious.
Yeah, but 9.2 being confirmed as 100% going to happen gives hope for 9.3 being a thing.
Reassuring that 9.2 is going to happen is just them reassuring that WoW’s development cycle is starting to get back on track after Blizzard’s mishaps from Covid.
That’s what Ion was actually trying to convey there. They have it planned out, they are working on it, we won’t get a second WoD.
Logic is lost upon the masses good female dwarf. You must abide by the drones and become one of them or you’re any number of colorful expletives and you’re just wrong (per their perspective.)
Cause we all know each of us is the center of the universe and the sun orbits around us. Only what we see is what’s really happening.
Okay, I admit … I had a rough time keeping a straight face. Welcome to the year 2021.
