It’s very simple, horde cannot win Isle of Conquest in random epic BGs. I’ve lost the last 10 or so games, most of which is a completely laughable stomp by alliance. It’s incredibly frustrating to get stuck with that terrible battleground that is a 100% loss before it even begins.

The BG sucks for both Factions. It’s just a crappy BG that is literally a coin-flip as to who wins it.
Yea, if both sides of the coin are heads and alliance is auto-assigned heads. This isn’t just a losing streak or circumstance, we get facerolled every game, it’s almost comical how bad the games go. We can’t even get a gate down before they kill Agmar. This BG needs some serious work (instead of beefing up docks which alliance always gets, smart Blizzard).

I mean…this is at lv 120, so I’m not quite sure we can blame twinks on these losses. My mind is blown though, at how consistent these losses are.

I win it roughly 50/50. Own Hangar and kill demos/glaives. Makes it easier if you own hangar and WS though.
Hangar/Airship damage to gates is unstoppable…unless you own the hangar. Demos and Glaives go down pretty easy if you have enough defending.
You can win with WS and Docks, yes. But only against bad teams that don’t defend.
Sounds like you are just in bad teams, overreacting and venting. I don’t win 100% of mine, and IoC isn’t favorable to Alliance.
IoC is probably the most even epic BG. Sorry you had a bad run, OP. Probably won’t be the same your next session.

Just checked my win rates:
1st ally - 46.3%
2nd ally - 40.7%,
cowhordie - 56.6% (surprised me! thought it’d be lower…)
Those may include a few games in the 111-119 bracket (can’t remember)

I have those stats also, but that’s from 5 years ago when we did use to win. Lately…it’s all losses. It could just be bad string of luck, bad teams…people definitely refuse to listen about destroying glaives, but still…it’s shocking how little I win now a days in there.
I will try my luck again today, maybe yell with caps about defending against glaives and demos more aggressively, and see if things are different.
I must be a walking statistical anomaly then. I’m like 10-3 on IoC over the last month or so. It’s definitely winnable buddy.
Like I posted last week; Horde players completely neglect the glaives. All it takes is a few minutes of glaives free casting and the gates come down.
You need to organize a glaive kill team before the gates open and make sure there is a group taking them out. Do what I do and rage in BG chat until players come kill the glaives just to shut you up.
Workshop/Docks new meta. Protect glaives=win. If you don’t have docks and you ignore glaives you WILL lose.
So again…haven’t won yet. I literally spam in caps to destroy glaives…and nobody goes over to do it. It’s not on Blizzard to fix that, but I honestly have no idea what else to do…as I, a healer, watch the glaives melt our gates completely uncontested.
Does anyone have suggestions on how to get these horde dopes to read the chat or follow instructions? It’s bad enough the distance to mid flag is shorter for alliance so they always get it, but always getting glaives too?! I’m lost, lol.
You have stealth … all you need is another 1-2 rogues or druids and you can take Glavies down yourself . Look for stealth classes and whisper to them
