iO makes it so casual players cant optimally play casually.

Lets use myself as an example.
ilvl460 very experienced in the content i want to do.
I only have time to be a casual player, so im not going to waste my time building iO score in content that is otherwise irrelevant to me.

the ONLY things i can benefit from are M+ Kings Rest, H/M Raden, and H/M Wrathion. I have NO reason to do anything else, nor do i have the time to commit to a full Ny’alotha clear or to waste my hours in M+ dungeons that i have no reason to be in.

So, since M+ KR, H/M Wrathion, H/M Raden are all i do, i have an abysmal iO score that actually makes it impossible to get into Mythic Raden/Wrathion kills. Impossible to get into anything higher than M9. Even though there is no real reason for me to be restricted from these things.
I am more than capable of M10-15 Kings Rest, but a 3rd party program is locking me out of it.
I am more than capable of doing M Wrathion and Raden. Yet a 3rd party program is locking me out of it.
We alrdy have acheivements and ilvl gating players, why is there a 3rd party program being allowed to further gate players off of irrelevant information?

What’s stopping you from doing and learning the dungeons on M2, 3 and 4?
Hell, completing and timing all dungeons on a 7 should give you nearly 700 io. That’s plenty to get into 9s and 10s.

You’re to blame for your low io score, sorry.

So… Go put in the very minimal amount of effort required to build a good io instead of simply expecting to be invited.

People don’t know you. They have no idea how good or bad you may be. This post is the height of entitlement

QFT. I’m a Holy Priest, the “worst” healer available. my io went from 0 to 1300 in less than two weeks.

People are lazy /thread.

No it doesn’t.
It makes it so casual players don’t get into high keys with people who take it seriously.
Which is fine.

Why are we acting like M2-8 take years to do? You can literally do every dungeon on a 7 and time it within LESS THAN A DAY, and boom your io is now 700+.

You say that, but we have no proof you are. Do some lower keys to show you are more than capable. 460 ilvl is far from phenomenal enough, and your guarantees that you’re a good player aren’t any different from every other trashbag who thinks they’re a great player.

No, players are choosing not to invite you because you can’t show any relevant experience with the content.

Because ilvl is more or less a useless indicator of player skill, and achievements don’t mean much, either. (io itself doesn’t mean much, but it’s better than ilvl.)

Your score is based of your Mythic+ runs, how is that irrelevant?

proof.
ilvl460.
proper itemization.
proper talents.
high end pvp experience.
past end game raid experience.
im obviously not bad, but a 3rd party program says i am. lol
Again i dont have time to do all these pointless dungeons.
I have time to do a Mythic+ a week, my visions, and a couple Ny’alotha bosses.
I would like to be able to target the things i want optimally, but apparently i need to do irrelevant content for the sake of a 3rd party program(which is beyond stupid.).

No one is gating you. You are gating yourself, this patch has been out for how long now? if you arent at an appropriate IO, you are playing the game incorrectly, even as a casual.

How does any of that show you know how to handle the dungeon’s routes, affixes, and mechanics, because your item level is roughly equivalent with m+9 and you can follow an icy-veins guide?
