IO is destroying this games gearing system

And, furthermore, your premise that one must have such and such score to give an opinion is wrong.

Your post gives an excellent example of all that is evil about raiderio and why it should be banned.

You a freaking phony in asking for Raider IO’s removal. I’ll use you as a example, since you’re trying to act smart. Your IO score is below everyone else in this thread. Hell, I bet it’s lower than 70% of LFR Raider’s I meet. Yet, you have the audacity to come declare for Raider IO’s removal because you don’t have a high score, when in fact you do not even run Mythic+ at all.

It’s folks like you, is why Raider IO exist. There’s too much free gear being given out. So, you can’t judge off of ilvl and achievements mean nothing, for the most part. If Raider IO never existed and you applied to 8s and 10s, you would ruin so many keys because you don’t have the experience, knowledge, and nor do you even run Mythic+ at all. You’re just an annoying dog barking about something that you don’t even participate in.

I watched your threads from the old forums. I never commented negatively about you in your advance to do so, because I didn’t really care; However, you’re still being trying to change something that doesn’t need changing so I looked into your IO history, which again, isn’t private except on Raider IO. You have 0 experience in Mythic+ with anything except 2 affixes but want to ruin something that benefits weeding out non-experienced players. To make matters worse about you, from what I can see, you’ve only ran 3 dungeons.

The little respect I had for you is gone. You need to reevaluate the subjects you choose to partake in; because in Mythic+, your IO may be private in that website and you may set your forum profile to private but that doesn’t make you seem any better. I called you out only because you made yourself stick out. You don’t run Mythic+ and you shouldn’t even be commenting in threads about it.

You do realize I was not attacking raiderio in the least in that post. I was complaining about those who are going overboard with it. Your defending it like a addict defends their stash and that is not healthy for anyone.

But it’s still used as a gate by some idiots that obviously that don’t want to work for things. IE: carries.

You’re in a thread that claims IO is ‘destroying the game’ while saying you don’t like it because… you couldn’t get into M0 groups while playing an oversaturated spec.

Please tell me how pointing out the clear fact that your problem with Raider IO that you explained … has nothing to do with raider IO in a thread about raider IO supposedly killing the game is “defending it like an addict defends his stash”

I’m sure people already said this but the reason IO exists is because blizzard already destroyed gearing.

Every single component about gearing is essentially RNG. Gems, tertiary and even item level are all RNG. Now because of this there’s no real way to tell if someone whose at 370-380 ilvl is good or not or someone you’d want in your group. You can get 370-385 gear from stromgarde/darkshore warfronts, you can get 370 from the mythic monthly event, you get 370 gear from emissaries and any gear can titanforge to max ilvl.

IO isn’t destroying anything, it’s a symptom caused by blizzard convoluting and destroying gearing in WoW. There’s really no way to tell if that 375 lock that applies has experience or not, item level no longer means anything. That’s where IO comes in.

Adding more ways to actually obtain gear is fine and actually positive for the game however when that gear is obtained from trivial content but can be compared to mythic level raiding gear things get out of hand and I’m not just speaking about Titanforging.

It’s public information, anyone can get an api key and query and store anyone (or everyone)'s progression. raiderio having a private flag doesn’t make the data itself private.
