This seems like the universally agreed name for the Ox invocation… Any particular… reason?.. I call mine Yao. (Because hes king of the rock! … and theres nuttin’ you girls can do about it… mulan reference)…
It just is
It’s because no one can pronounce or spell niuzao. So… angry dave.
Since i’m a Mistweaver I have Yu’lon but I just call it by its real name: Useless.
I was wondering about this, I’ve heard Dave and Gary. Gary must be the statue?
Why do you think Yu’lon is useless?
It’s a very high throughput CD thanks to enveloping mists, much better than Revival, but it does have a hefty mana requirement.
Check the peak of serenity website. There’s an article on how to optimize your celestial use for MWs.
It’s not useless, but it is situational. (this is a tank perspective) For most effectiveness, Yulon requires the harmed party members to be stacked up and in range. This is highly dependent on the mechanics of the fight, whether it requires folks to spread out, run around, soak, etc. It can also be buggy and heal the wrong person, or nothing at all, and be a huge waste of mana.
I’ve Seen Yulon out and thought “oh thank god” as my health dips… and no heals… and like, Yu, come on baby… gimme a break… I’m dyin here. No, not the mage. ME THE TANK I- oh I’m dead now.
In a pvp setting Yu’lon is useless.
I also don’t know the origin of Dave, but it just is Dave. Though I thought Dave was referring to the statue specifically.
But hes no longer Angry. I refer to him as Not-so-Angry Dave now that they took away his AOE taunt.
Dave is the Statue. Angry Dave is the old summon were he AOE taunted and flipped tables and sh*t back in Legion and BFA. SL they chopped his balls off.
Wow, sadly I missed the iteration of Dave who was angry… That sounds like a riot
