I was in Bitestone Enclave - High Mountain. Had just killed one of the humanoids and one of those rock gator/crock things (character is dead, can’t see them around now). I looted them, went to mine the gator thing and noticed my health going down after I wasn’t able to mine the crock.
Then I noticed I was in combat. There was nothing around me. I wasn’t standing in anything, nothing toxic around, just my health steadily decreasing and the indication I was in combat. So… I died.
Unfortunately, genius here thought she’d be clever and ended task before I completely died only realizing that yes, character persists even when game closes, so of course I still died AND it wiped my combat log LOL.
