Had a 15 key last night. Went for an invis skip, so using Potion of the Hidden Spirit. I was NOT in wolf form and everything is fine. Move quietly as intended. We wipe and have to run back. I go again to invis through but this time I’m in wolf form. The invis starts and immediately breaks. Is this interaction known? If so, whyyyyy? lol Can someone learn me good???

Known bug from 9.0.5.
When using the spirit wolf talent, each stack refresh will break any invis.
It sucks, and its a bigger deal than the animation slog of what ghost wolf was, but it was largely overlooked by shaman in general initially. Outside of ones running higher keys.

Invis pots seem to be breaking across a multitude of classes/specs. I haven’t tried dropping the talent on my shaman, does that alleviate the bug?

I can confirm that without the talent invis works as expected.
Just to double check myself, just used 2 Potions of Hidden Spirit in Oribos. With and without the talent.
WIth, dropped as soon as I got a stack of Spirit Wolf (talent)/stack refresh.
Without, invis stayed for full duration.

So THAT’S what it was! I would have come to the forums sooner but it wasn’t just me breaking stealth so I couldn’t tell it was Ghost Wolf causing it. Will Ghost Wolf break if you wait for the talent to fully stack first?

I just tested this and it still breaks invis. You’re either gonna have to use a different talent or only invis NOT in wolf form. Thanks so much Akston!! Nailed it. We need to make some noise about this. There were other classes in my run invis broke for.

Any refreshing of stacks also breaks it 
Posting this as a PSA and because it made me grumpy.
Don’t be fooled by the hotfix title. While 3 classes and a cov ability were fixed to no longer break stealth/invis…Shaman did not make the cut.
The Spirit Wolf talent still breaks it.
If you plan on invising/stealthing. Do not take it. Use Static Charge or (if you are resto) earthgrab instead with the affixes this week.
I ran into this bug on world quest in Maldraxxus where they invis you and you have to sneak in and pickpocket the three NPC’s. Even if you start in wolf form it breaks.

It’s not mentioned in the patch notes, but it does seem like Ghost Wolf was fixed as well. I was just testing it and it for sure worked when I had the buff fully stacked, and even clicking the buff off so it started stacking against didn’t break invis.
I can confirm its also fixed now, but it wasnt at the time of the hotfix notes.

Maybe they are tired of players skipping high keys and it is working as intended
Then why not just take out the ability.
Nothing wrong with using an ability as its intended.
Anyways, its fixed now.
