I thought it was going to take me months, but then some guy told me he has been farming that mount for…years. I’m just hoping that’s not true.
I’m down to my last 4 tries for Galleon this week… not feeling it.

How many times do you run it a week? The most expeditious way to get rare drops is to farm on an army of alts.
I have 6 alts that I run through as well.
I came up with a plan to farm pandaria world boss mounts on 30+ characters to probably get them all in less than a year. After my first lucky drop (Oondasta in 3 weeks) I shelved the project until a later date. The bonus rolls were getting to me.
Wow this makes me feel horrible. I got Invincible once, but deleted it from my bag since you couldn’t sell it and I don’t like horses. I didn’t know he was so rare until after the fact… Nah I’m just kidding.
I tried for months to get the white bear mount from the Northerend Daily. I cast a silent hex on everyone i see riding one. Strange, though, i have never been able to really bring myself back to Northerend since Cata.
however, maybe now is the time to try again.
I really hope you get the mount I had him drop after three tries on this Warlock and two tries on another Warlock so if it can drop place for me it can at least drop once for you. If it makes you feel any better I tried for at least four years to get the Phoenix

I run that every week on 15+ toons. It’s a myth of a drop. You have to have the inside track with a dev
