geez people have multiple accounts and you went way overboard on proving nothing worth proving.
PSA invincible pops up on the BMAH sometimes. That’s your alternative method. The drop doesn’t really need changed.
Nope. Wrong.
Says who?
Plenty have the mount, you’re just unlucky.
Are the costs there set or do they vary?
its highest bidder so it could cost only 1 million or gold cap depending on server.
The OP said:
I found 7 of them.
They put 7 out of 10 of their characters in the same guild then named them almost the same thing. It took less than five minutes.
They created this thread claiming there’s something wrong with this mount drop and it looks like they’re lying. I say that’s worth proving.
I didn’t mean they weren’t my characters. I meant the characters I did most of the work on are all gone.
I’ve gotten more than 25 kills since July on all my characters. I’ve also gotten the mind on my money achievement multiple times on every one of my characters. You can not tell me that these trackers don’t change.
there is something wrong with the drop rate - it needs adjusting if they are adjusting the world content drops.
that it not how the drop rate works. It’s not cumulative it’s the same .77% for each run, so 1 run or 1000 it’s the same .77% for each.
oh please.
you’ve got a grand total of 9 kills on that character.
you’ve probably got less on your others.
way to bring the drama.
Is it still possible to use an alt to invite yourself to a saved ID to skip straight to Arthas? Took less than 6 months to get it doing this.
.77% drop rate from wowhead. Just unlucky is an understatement!
Op will figure that out one day
You haven’t killed him 2600 times though.
If you had have killed him 2600 times, your chance of not seeing Invincible would be something like 1 in 1.8 million.
At 121 kills, the chance of seeing Invincible drop is closer to 60%. Technically you’re unlucky (the 50% mark is around 90 kills) but not anywhere near a statistical outlier of unluckiness.
wait what?
What really made me mad when I was grinding for this mount was that they added a garrison music scroll called “Invincible” to the LK loot table. So for that split second you think “Finally!!!” and then realize it’s a green quality item.
First, that’s not how the WoW algorithm for rarity works, it’s not a 1/X chance every so runs, it’s .77% chance on ALL runs you do individually…
And yes this IS a problem, as it’s a short term solution to keeping players in game and playing, just to pump their time played metric. A simpler solution if they want to keep people playing would be to put the boss/openworld boss mounts with less than 1% rarity on the trading post for say maybe a few hundred of the new currency on a rotating schedule?
This would encourage people to play the game at least for however long it took to get the mount while also rewarding them for their time.
I know right, we should hop on the “What the heck, Tovi” train because he called someone out for using hyperbole.
Shame on you Tov, for spreading facts, we don’t do that here! Be gone!
I just don’t believe you
I agree with Nobully, you’re just being over dramatic and when you got busted fudging the numbers, it’s now “well I deleted them” after I pointed out your kill count does not reset with faction changes.
