Inventory/Reagent Management is PAINFUL and needs a rework

There are SO many reagents and items you need to keep - whether it be for Professions, rep reward purchases, or a myriad of other things. This encourages you to hang on to any white or non-grey items. Some of them are for secret mounts, etc - so even if you don’t know exactly what it does, you might need it later, so it’s best to keep it.

God help you if you have any prevoius mats in your bank from old expansions - maybe you wanted to level a previous expansions Professions, IE Northrend engineering for the mailbox, or do Mechagon rep grinds.

Or maybe you want to save the special Holiday items so you can get those items next year. You get the point.

There are currently WAAAAAY to many items in this game, that don’t have a clear purpose, you don’t know what they’re for, but you are encouraged not to just toss them out.

We need multiple Reagent tabs at this point. Probably better inventory management and sorting options too, but just start with giving us multiple Reagent tabs in our bank.

It’s honestly one of the worst features of WoW at the moment. Dragonflight made a lot of positive strides but the inventory system took a huge step back.

TOO. MANY. ITEMS. Not enough space. Please do something about this, it’s painfully designed and I can see it serving no other purpose than aggravating the player base.

The reagents tab in the bank needs a separate sub tab for every expansion. We are well past due for this.

FF14 does it already so it wouldn’t surprise me.

They should just copy the thing gw2 does. We already tried to copy their mounts, might as well go all out

Managing your hording is one of the many aspects of the genre. The game gives us plenty of ways to sort through our vast collections. Make alts that can hold onto unbound items that you aren’t currently using. Move account bound items to an alt until you need them. For those items your alt doesn’t even need to be on the same server. Check the AH, see if something can bring in some profit.

I’ll be happy with 50 slot normal bags a 100 slot reagent bags, another row of bag slots in personal bank. Another tab in Reagent Bank with reagent bag slots.

And while were talking about the bank allow us to deposit gold in it like a guild bank but with your personal bank. I think it would be pretty cool to deposit gold in your own personal bank.

I’ve played GW2 since release and ahhhhhhhh… Can I get a dislike button? xD

Oh man, their system is SO expensive. I finally have like 8 shared slots and it took forever to farm the gold.

Ngl, I feel like they really over did it this expansion, we did not need 3 different versions of 1 mat that takes up 3 spots per type.

if you arent sure if something is used for something useful like a mount, just search the item on wowhead and it will tell you.

if wowhead doesnt have a listing for it, then its safe to delete.

Not a good reason for something to be this player unfriendly. WoW has deviated from what is typical for the genre in a number of ways, and continues to do so.

Of all the RPG elements that I’d like to see more of in WoW, messy/cluttered/frustrating inventory management that serves no purpose isn’t one of them.

Fine - I’ll use alts, but allow me to have a Shared Bank, similar to a Guild Bank. In fact, I’d love to consolidate all past-expansion mats and such to one alt, that’d be great.

Point being there are many ways this badly designed feature could be improved.

This should have been implemented in-game expansions ago.

I would say just add bags as equipment the Reagent Bank can equip, as well as the Guild Bank being able to equip bags too.

Ooh! And Void Storage able to equip bags too.

The only way this works is if it is server bound. Every server has its own economy.

You not liking how something is designed doesn’t make it a ‘bad’ design. It’s as ‘player friendly’ as it needs to be. If inventory management isn’t something someone enjoys perhaps the genre isn’t for them. The game needs more of its rpg elements restored, not removed.

Glad you speak for what is and isn’t of the genre. Get over yourself, lol.
Any idiot can see there’s way too much item bloat.

One reason I made a guild. That guild bank

Not gonna lie, that is a great deal. I’d pay that. I love inventory, and it hurts my soul deleting flavor gray items.

But they would end up designing as they did with D4, where every item in everyone in the zone’s stash tab had to load when you logged on.

Not to mention all the sub-components. Chilled Runes, Salad-on-the-Side, etc. etc. etc.

How many different special types of hides and stuff are there? And these aren’t even the hides we gather, these are the hides we MAKE, after we gather the hides, as an in-between to make the actual item.
