Hello, so a few days ago i was using Tricks of the Trade on my rogue and it was working perfectly fine, i uploaded the pre-patch for 8.1.5 and every time i do tricks of the trade for my rogue now it says i have an invalid target. I’ve tried focus macros, mouse over macros, and even the base spell all to the same effect of “invalid target” i was wondering is this an bug or an in game issue for my character?
I had this happen halfway through a Siege of Boralus run last week. Was using it on cool down on the pally tank. Right before second boss, it stopped working. Giving me the invalid target for the rest of the run.
Only time I’ve ever had this happen.
I’ve had this happen a few times in the past. I use a simple macro /cast [target=playername] tricks of the trade. I’ve always thought it had something to do with certain players or realms but I really have no idea. If I change the target to a different group member it works.
was the tank mounted at the time? can’t use on people when they are mounted.

well thank you guys i guess it’s just a bug because now it’s working will all the marcos. idk it’s a weird thing that keeps happening to me . thank you guys for your inputs.
Also the tanks will sometimes have Neural Silencer on them which prevents tricks/misdirects/pulls/etc. and not realize it. Had this happen in a couple of dungeons and raids.
