If it were a single f2p alternative game it actually would work.
But do we want that?
That’s the more important question.
I’d play it.
Whenever the Classic servers were down, simulating the “real downtime” of 2005.
I’m shocked the OP decided to post on a character with 0 posts.
They kinda had that with the FFA arena in WoD

Man I went through all the effort of making a parody on Harvey Birdman looking at his calendar for this and Blizz won’t let me post links. Bogus I tell ye.
Anyway you’re a bit late on this April Fools.
This isn’t a joke. this would be fun
I never understood why Blizzard didnt put out an “arcade” for battlenet. It would have all the mini-games you play throughout your time in azeroth(thinking of like the gunship battle at the beginning of Mists, i think alliance side, when you shoot a gun from the deck of the airship or the plant game that is like plants v zombie in hillsdale). They could literally add this to the arcade.
These forums get really stupid on the weekends…

Why would they add an arcade when people can go out in the world and find it themselves to queue in?
You can’t on all of them. Some of them like the peaceblooms vs ghouls and the things you could. But there is a tower defense one for instance in the badlands that is just a regular quest. The MoP opening sequence is a regular non-repeatable quest.
Plus you could open up other mini-games - for instance Shamans have a few mini games in their class halls/legion. It would be fun.
It doesnt affect gameplay at all. You could also throw in a pet battle option there maybe. Login to the arcade and I can queue for pet battles or play any of the hundreds of mini games WoW has made available over the years. I am not suggesting you get quest rewards or anything at all.
Another one I can think of off the top of my head some something I think in the twighlight highlands? Where you shoot farm animals at gnome helicopters. Wouldnt mind doing that again
I’d still rather have Classic Rated BattleGrounds

I mean, it seem like a great idea. Would be fun to try it out … or at the very least, the idea could be a fun FFA PvP Map on retail, if they keep the idea (for brawl map rotation)
