Probably some legal issue over prizes or licencing. Someone will copy it to YouTube an hour later anyway.
Good job ignoring ongoing issues in your game and instead waving something flashy and saying look over here and ignore that over there. Blizz, stop blowing sunshine up our rears and address the real issues.
Is it just me, or does it seem like everytime there are issues that are causing a huge mess, they do something like this to try and distract everyone from the problems so they don’t have to actually deal with them.

Have to cast a wide net with these guys or you get nothing. The general perception is they don’t care about their playerbase very much. Rampant bots (which are easily solved), etc. Why do they get to showcase something nice when we have to deal with their garbage…that we all pay for.
thats a good way to end up banned for spamming or getting the posts deleted.

I can’t wait to see who their celebrity players will be. I hope they’re international celebrities because here in Canada we’re not familiar with half of your US celebrities.

Being banned from the forums is no big loss and if it results in them being better to their playerbase and more motivated to take financial losses by making the game better (banning bots)…then good.
Man if they had a contest for fastest Alt leveling to level 10 and creation in a span of 2 hours. I’d win. Unless they’re making a restriction on heirlooms lol

Isn’t a variety show a compilation of sketches (usually comedy) which utilizes a common central cast throughout each sketch?

My thoughts:

- Did ABK get the trademark rights for the use of “WoW” in the context of a variety show? goes on a trademark search
Why not make this into a game mode that guilds and communities can engage in instead?
Interesting. I don’t really care about the raid or dungeon type competitions. This is a bit different.
I used to set these up for my guild back in Vanilla and it was a lot of fun. We had prizes that folks donated/farmed and had a heck of a fun time on Vent and our private forums doing it.
I wish I still had my scavenger hunt list. Some of it was inside jokes for the guilds, but much was not. We did the foot races too. Never did the leveling thing, but I could see that as a fun thing to watch people do as long as it is not too long of a session.
I might even watch it, or will check out highlights when done.
This first one is experimental, but you never know what might come out of it.
Yeah I think it’d be fun if they offer like competition rankings or leaderboards in guilds. Can really motivate people to join social guilds to hang out and do events like these.
I need to know who these celebrities are and if one of them is Jessica Alba.
