Interrupt training dummy?

One dummy I notice the game doesn’t have which could be really beneficial is a training dummy that randomly casts an interruptible ability, this dummy would be really helpful in honing your or other players reactions in fights in both pve raids/dungeons and pvp.

I wonder if blizz would be willing to add such a dummy.

it could have two spells, “don’t interrupt” and “interrupt”

What is this " Interrupt" you speak of… Meh, most likely fake news

Probably won’t happen unless they treat it like the tanking training dummy and actually make it hurt. Plus you’d have to balance around the fact that some classes have interrupts that are on 12 sec, 25 sec, 45 sec, and 1 min cooldowns.

Part of the reason people never interrupt is that they don’t realize that the mobs in the game actually cast spells that hurt. Most people run through the game without danger because nothing does anything sub 50.

You know we used to have Proving Grounds for this exact reason

But too many people complained they couldn’t just roll face across keyboard for the 5 minutes it took to clear bronze and silver and that they were locked out of heroics because of it

The sad truth is the average player doesn’t want to learn to git gud, they just want to be able to unga bunga or get carried by better players. That’s why LFR has been smoothbrain-proof for almost 10 years and yet still needs a buff that stacks every time the group wipes

I think it’s some kind of health food; bland and boring but supposed to be good for you.

So a tofu like ability?

You know there are those encounters where a big button pops up…like at the portal when you have to burn the huts of those Orcs. A big button pops up on the screen when you get close to the huts.

Make it so, if you have an interrupt ability, the button pops up on the screen, all big and Staples “that was easy” when a mob starts casting a spell where it would be pragmatic to need to interrupt it.

Only kidding, but I wouldn’t put it past it getting implemented at some point.

its the button everyone pressed at the same time on the first cast and then its on cooldown for everybody

dbm should add a special sound if your target has been interrupted so you get a cue not to interrupt over it

I hold all of mine at least until the 2nd cast, but that is absolutely what happens 99% of the time.

Torghast has shown to be a pretty decent training ground. Sure you can become a literal god sometimes, but you still have to use your toolkit at times you wouldn’t in a open world environment.

I don’t think we should encourage “honing”.

Isn’t that against the TOS?

Sigh, need more coffee and read the Bible I sure and hell did not read honing the 1st time
