Has anyone else boosted another char in addition to the one you are trying to now?
My other half lvled to faction selection and tried to boost internal error. He deleted and tried to boost a lvl 1 on second account. Neither worked.

Also is happening with the Sha-infused Epic Packā€™s level 85 boost.

The Sha Infused Epic Pack Boost is also having this issue as stated by a few others, thanks for looking into it.

The issue fixed for my partner by logging into retail and learning the pets and mounts you get for leveling the panda monk in the starting area. GL folks.

So, hereā€™s what I found out.

I bought the Sha Booster Pack, and like many of you, it wouldnā€™t let me boost my Pandaren. I figured it was just a bug, so I thought, ā€œAlright, Iā€™ll make a Monk of a different race and try that.ā€ I created a Gnome Monkā€”and boom, it worked.

Problem is, I didnā€™t want a Gnome. I wanted a Panda. So I got the brilliant idea to buy the regular $60 character boost, thinking that would do the trick. I made a brand-new level 1 Pandarenā€¦ and nope, still couldnā€™t boost it.

At this point, already broke and clearly not learning, I thought Iā€™d be clever and bought the $25 Race Changeā€”planning to change my Gnome Monk into a Pandaren Monk. And wouldnā€™t you know itā€¦ that didnā€™t work either. LMAO.

So now Iā€™m sitting here with a level 85 Gnome Monk, an unused 85 Boost, and a Race Change token just chilling on my screen. :clown_face:

Anyway, I hope this helps someone else avoid wasting money like I did. Fingers crossed this gets fixed soon. Love you all. :blue_heart:

I can confirm itā€™s working now. Funny enough, right after writing this post I decided to give it one more shotā€”and it actually worked. Hope itā€™s back up and running for you all too!

Sincerely I hope that all the people waiting around with race changes (some players bought them in multi-packs) to use on characters we have invested a lot of time in already, would be allowed to use these race changes to change to Pandaren. This would be very greatly appreciated.

Eta: I donā€™t even mind waiting if this is just not an issue that they can get around to changing immediately. It just seems particularly out of character to disable a paid feature that original MoP allowed, whilst allowing other paid features such as boosts to apply to Pandaren.

Also odd considering there were no restrictions on race changing to worgen when cata classic went live.

Thank you for your patience! The error with boosting a Monk character has been resolved.

Does that mean race changes to pandaran would work now? Or is that still in the works?

Conflicting reports on Race Changes. I specifically bought multiple to change my Shamans (and other toons) to Panda, and there was nothing stating we couldnā€™t, only going TO draenei shaman and not the other way around. But people are able to BOOST ('cause, you know, $$$). Seems a little off, no?

I just succeeded at a Draenei to Pandaren race change, where even this morning I was not able to. So looks to me like a decision has been made.

Seems like the boost doesnā€™t work on my level 12 Panda Monk but will if I create a brand new level 1 Panda Monk? Why?
