Keep getting this error "Internal bag error" while fishing in bfa, saw the rare mount twice now but I get the error and it wont give me the item. I have renamed the three folders as described in the support post but that seems to have made it worse. I have no addons running at all. Anyone else finding this?
I am also getting Internal Bag Errors with fishing but, luckily, only with regular fish. So far. I did a UI reset and still get it occasionally. For me, the worst is in busy areas like Boralus when I fish in the harbor to pass time when waiting for someone.
This has been happening to me all over the new zones. Frustrating.
This has also been happening to me, while fishing trying to catch the Great Sea Ray it's really annoying. I do receive the experience etc but the item gets deleted and sometimes I feel that I did get the mount but with auto loot + the error the frame is closed too fast for me to see (I sometimes see a flash of purple)
The same is happening to me.
I've tried all the basics about troubleshooting but the problemn persist.
For the comment about being in a busy place, this happens even in the most remote place on earth where nobody is... i do hope i haven't loss the mount.

Been getting that with fishing and my in game mail on my AH toon...done all the dang resets over and over still not fixing it.
Been getting this on occasion myself. Once on a cast that would have netted me the great sea ray mount. *sigh* back to fishing...

UPDATE: My ticket is advancing. I also got the mail problem with the AH mails, so "is good" to know i'm not the only one. Blizzard is asking me for more info, logs and test about this problems as they now saw that i'm not the only one.

I did lost my great sea ray mount because of this bug. Blizzard says they dont see in their logs that i got it, nor that it appeared it the fishing loot window (i'm on autoloot, no addons). Yo can see a clip of this happening on my twitch channel (go to twitch dot tv/videos/300377577). As it not in their logs, restoration is not possible.

This happened to me just now. Is it worth trying to put a ticket in or should I not bother?
Same same. It happens alot. You will get a skill point but not the actual fish.
I haven't had the fishing error, but in the last 2 days I have trouble with my ingame mail, with and without addons.
Ditto. Causing me to lose the mount and the midnight salmon, which makes me suspect it's related to getting more-than-one item when you reel in the fish.
Happened to me twice today this error. DIdnt see what it was that I lost though but i guess i might turn off auto loot for a while.
ya, the "internal bag error" is getting pretty old. i cant tell you how many midnight salmon ive lost to this, and my second great sea ray i ever caught getting all excited just to find its not in my bag.
Within the last few hours ive gotten this error at least 30 times, its getting pretty rediculous. Why bother fishing when you dont keep half the stuff you fish up.
Just wanted to chime in since blue doesn't seem to care - THIS IS STILL OCCURRING AND WE ARE LOSING THINGS WE CARE ABOUT!
Been on a mad fishing spree these past couple days. I'd say I've seen this bug 10ish times.
Made this post to vent about how I just lost a Midnight Salmon to it. I went back in my bags and confirmed my stack count didn't get higher.

I've found that this happens not only with fishing but with skinning/mining as well. It's really irritating and I seriously hope they fix it soon. Nothing quite like killing a bunch of things and going to skin them only to get "Internal Bag Error" for each one and not getting any of the skins.
The current solution to this is to turn off autoloot when you are fishing or gathering. I know it is annoying.
What seems to happen is that if you perform a second action such as casting again, before all the loot goes into your bags, it errors. Or so I think.
I did lose a few midnight salmon before I figured this out.
As for restorations, when gathering the loot is not registered in the logs as "looted" until it hits your bag. The GMs can't see what was in the loot window before that. That is why they can't give back Midnight Salmon or mounts that are lost due to the error. No logs = no loot.
Just be sure to turn autoloot back on before you head out questing.

Ah, not a fix. Did not happen and were always able to cast immediately following catching the first fish, even while the window of the fish or item was still on the screen.
It's a glitch caused by????................... And turning off auto loot drags on the boring fishing as it is.
P.S. You still get level ups if the "internal bag error" occurs
