i’ve seen a post about this back in october. there were no solutions attached and its not closed. but when im playing, randomly some keys will become inoperative. i have managed to work around it but now its started being A & D lol…hugely annoying. i’ve tried 3 diff keyboards same problem. also my keyboards work perfectly in any other program. any ideas? has anyone found a fix for this. i’ve tried rebooting, restarting, all the basic stuff
that might have been my post. In my case it only happens when I open a chat. I haven’t seen it lately but then I haven’t been chatting a lot, the only way I could fix it was to quit then restart the game.
Possibly another app relying on those keystrokes? Discord overlay? nVidia overlay?
I had this issue. I did the “rename WTF, Cache, Interface” folders thing and it stopped. i reloaded my addons about a week later and it didn’t happen again. So I’m thinking it may have been an addon.
Well I spoke to soon tried to yell to respond to a yell opened the chat box hit / and nothing.
closed the box hit / and it worked but still several keys did not work, they work fine out of chat but not in it. No adons quit the game came back and it worked fine.
Discord overlay uses that key. What else is running in the background?
Are your drivers up to date, latest version?
drivers up todate nothing else running it only happens when I open the chat box to type and then intermitntly. Its not just the / key s h c and others don’t work either.
Its been going on since at least the DF cave, at least that is the first time I remember it happening
And you did all the UI reset steps, including resetting CVars?
