Didn’t there used to be a subforum just for this kind of thing?

So I had friendly nameplates set to show all the time. Wanted to make it so that my warlock DOTs would appear over the nameplates. Tried a couple different nameplate addons, but ended up disabling/deleting all of them.

Now, friendly NPCs will only have nameplates while I’m targeting them. If I stop targeting them, their nameplate shrinks down and then they just have text over them. How can I restore this to the default behavior please?

As a secondary question, how can I get my DOTs to show above the enemy nameplates so that if I’m juggling multiple mobs, I can see what’s going on better? I’m willing to use weakauras, but not Plater unless I can use it while not having the first issue. Thanks!

Try [Shift-V] as the default hotkey to toggle friendly nameplates.

If that isn’t working, in the Options>Keybindings>Targeting section, you can check/set the hotkey for “Show Friendly Name Plates”

Lastly, you could check Options>Interface and there is a checkbox under the nameplates section for “Friendly Players” and “Always Show Nameplates”

Make sure you delete the files from the nameplate addons you used from the addons folder.
