The “Interface Shortcuts” tooltip appears every time the Appearances tab is opened. This includes simply switching to another collections tab (ex. Mounts) and back to the Appearances tab without closing the collections window.
Also experiencing this issue as well. No addons installed just a plain WoW client.
Came here to post about this. Exceptionally annoying.
Same and annoying.
This is really annoying. They should provide an option to opt out of ALL helpful tutorial popups. Please fix.
I’m also affected by this, It’s very annoying.
I’m getting this as well. I wonder if it’s connected to my missing tabard transmogs?
Try resetting your UI and then check your game settings this many include having to reset all values back to default.
This is not a UI or game setting issue. This is definitely something that just broke with the patch.
Blizzard changed a few of the addon API calls in 10.2.5, but the responsibility to make addons work is entirely on the addon developers. If an API change breaks an addon, by definition it is not Blizzard’s to fix. The addon adapts to the new environment or it goes away.
This isn’t an issue with add-ons. This is a stock UI issue. I have no add-ons loaded at all.
I thought I was responding to a different conversation. I don’t know how that reply got into this topic.
I am on a clean install of the game, have never had any addons, and I am having this issue. It’s base UI, not addon-related.
I never said anything about add-ons… I said reset your UI
I can’t imagine why you would suggest a UI reset if it isn’t addon-related, but sure. I just did, and it’s still happening.
Came here to report this issue as well. Every. single. time. it keeps popping up and takes like 2-3 seconds of wildly clicking to make it go away. So annoying.
Same issue here. (You just need to mouse over and off the circled i to dismiss it, though.)
seemed to break with the patch
This issue has been resolved at least for me within the last day or so. Not sure if it’s fixed for everyone, but worth deleting the Cache folder to check.
Deleting the cache folder didn’t work for me, unfortunately.
