Hi gang! As the title says, I’m looking for something fun to do and thought I would find some new pets to tame. Doesn’t have to be a super rare or anything complicated; could just be some pets that look interesting, though I don’t mind a challenge either.
Hunter pets or battle pets?

If we’re talking hunter pets, all of the Molten Front pets are tricky (or were tricky) to tame. Same with Pandaria, as you need to drop flares and follow tracks to tame the white tiger in Jade Forest.
Also, raid bosses are usually fun to tame with Trex science experiments and corehouds.
There’s a website called Wowpetopia. It shows you all the different skins for animals, you know, now that they’re all just skins instead of unique critters.

Assuming you mean hunter pets, these immediatly come to mind for me:
Umbra’jin is always up, Tenok is a rare.
Then there’s:
Another rare.
None of these three are exotic so you can tame as any spec.

I should have specified, I meant hunter pets; although I am fond of collecting regular pets too, so I’ll look into those also!

What race are you?
You also need a matching pair, nothing else will fly. I don’t give an orcs fart how rare your pet is, if you don’t have 2 of them, then it’s just not that special.
If you can’t pull out a matching pair of spectral pets then just roll a Warlock or something. 
That said if you are going to take being a hunter seriously then I suggest a gander over at Petopia.

I’m really fond of this one
It’s a really nice blue color but also ghostly so you can see through it. One of my favorite pets. Though admittedly can be annoying since the mobs only spawn it when they are low health. But if you have the Foam Sword toy or whatever(so you don’t kill trivial mobs), it shouldn’t be too bad.

It’s for my Mag’har orc. She’s currently a BM but I’m debating on switching to MM just for funsies. I will for sure check out the website. Thanks!

I’m really not a fan of hunter (esp MM) in BfA but I really do recommend at least giving MM a shot, too many people try hunter and only try BM.

She’s at level 100 right now, so I’ll do some switching around while getting her to cap and get a feel for both specs. I hear MM isn’t doing so well, but the idea of the spec has always sounded fun to me.

It isn’t, sadly. But, it’s looking better in SLs (I hear a lot better, can’t say for sure without being in the beta), and I hope hunters start getting some more attention and MM is brought back up. All we’ve gotten for changes right now is just the initial things, nothing besides that.

Ok that was not my intention Zurogrusel, I should have mentioned the spec, my bad, but frankly it has been rare for me to see anything besides BM due to FOTM for the class etc as Visions are pretty faceroll with BM as I’m sure you know.

I’m impressed, and if I saw you in game I’d be soooo jelly!
In fact when I tamed Karoma the spectral wolf for the first time, and with pride whipped my new pet out and my other regular wolf but was stood directly in front of a hunter with matching spectral dps bears!
Talk about deflated! 
Was a game changing moment for me.
