… You can’t multibox and bot though. Either a human is controlling or they aren’t. I’m just looking for cons to humans controlling multiple characters. If this is automated behavior, I’ll just remove your con from the list I’m updating as it doesn’t apply.
Thanks for your comments though
No, you don’t need anything to multibox. Buy 2 accounts, turn them on at the same time
If you make a multiboxing thread that’s all you’re going to get. Good luck
Thanks it’s been pretty successful so far.
So you only want one side of the argument to make your decision? Sounds like you already made up your mind.
Well I don’t believe the wow forum would be a good place for the pros non multiboxers experience since the general consensus from non boxers is they either don’t care or think it should be banned. If you don’t care about something or are against it you will naturally have more trouble thinking of pros.
More importantly I know the one or two uses I would actually use multiboxing for and can research the pros in places more likely to actually know how well it will perform.
But now I’m curious, you say it sounds like I made up my mind, which I haven’t, what did you think I decided?
allow long boi to stay or they’ll farm it like mad, multi boxing is awesome but people are panicking and doing anything to farm that gold up before its removed.
If it were me I’d just make money IRL and buy tokens
So I technically multibox, but when the majority of people think about multiboxing it’s the 15 druids farming herbs…not the guy like myself who does dailies on two accounts at once.
I think there is a huge difference between the guy who does it with an extra 1-2 accounts and 10+
I multibox 5 accounts, I don’t gather as a multiboxer and I don’t wpvp, but apparently I’m doing something wrong.
Boxers, just like solo players, are subject to the same rules. If he got banned, it was because he broke a rule - not simply because he was multiboxing.
Well to be fair a human isn’t controlling all of toons when multiboxing anyways, boxers use programs like ISboxer to control all of the clients.
If I get up my characters don’t do anything
The main problem with multiboxing is /follow barely works.
Best comment in these inane threads. Ever.
Exactly. There are just not enough of them to warrant the current hysteria.
The discussion I’d like to see is how Blizzard could better design top-end herb zones to accommodate the actual demand. BfA was horrid design, and bound to cause friction.
I personally don’t see a problem with 'boxing. I really enjoyed it for RP.
I found an addon the other day that let’s you issue commands to other players like !follow and if they have the addon installed they’ll start following you lol

Isboxer does nothing without input from a human user, so a human is still controlling the other clients.
