I am. I like PvP when it doesn’t affect the gameplay experience like in those unbalanced servers with ganks and 10vs1 everywhere.

My question is: are they going to be cross-realm?

Well indeed. I have been attacking it super casual though. If Classic turns out to be as far as Blizzard goes (ie: no BC/Wrath) I don’t want to rush.

As far as I know BGs will be by Battlegroups.

Blizzard has said that BGs are going to be cross-realm, but no details past that.

We don’t know if there will be battlegroups or all servers, and if there are battlegroups, we don’t know what size they might be or which servers might be included. Battlegroups would be the most accurate to 1.12; but it’s also the case that a single Vanilla battlegroup would have been about as many servers as all of Classic.

So in conclusion, all we know is that they will not be single-server, and for everything else, we’ll have to wait until Blizzard says something or just flips the switch and lets us see what’s happening next week.

I just hope they group PvE and PvP servers separately. The salt from folks on the PvP servers would be hilarious.

The pvp discount on epic riding would be substantial… but that’s about as far as my interest goes… unless you count the AV ram being pretty as interest.

I did the HWL grind back in vanilla, so yes, I am interested in BGs.

It would be better if they don’t do cross-realm; the experience of fighting known “enemies” is half the fun. Some of those “enemies” are still friends to this day.

I’ll probably be looking for people to team with for (maybe) HWL grind #2.

Update: We now know that the cross-realm battlegrounds will be all servers within a region.

I sure am but Ive been so busy helping my friends level their characters i haven’t gotten mine to max yet.

I said before that I had a mild interest, but now I think I have a definite interest, esp. after trying PvP in Hillsbrad for the first time Monday evening.

It was so much fun in Hillsbrad. I saw a tiny gnome riding a big ol’ cat mount. So funny.

I saw a little gnome (mage?) who came up and stabbed people with her dagger. It was so hilarious. Later, I went up and started stabbing her, too. A whole bunch of flagged Alliance were circled around, watching but not attacking, as we poked each other with daggers. Lol… I was just laughing so hard. I died a whole bunch of times but I was really having a good time.
