In my search for a guild with truly Pandar(en/ia)-centric storytelling in RP (Ex: Any of Pandaria’s existing orders, its settlements, a Shao’din, etc.) I’ve noticed there seems to be a pretty significant empty space. This is a post merely to gauge interest levels for these themes, and if sufficient, whether anyone would like to start some RP going (perhaps in a small group setting as a start).
Nothing crazy big at first of course, but I’d love to start some collaborative story-telling with people interested in the same themes.

Hopefully we’ll be able to get a decent bunch of folks together to make good use of Pandaria’s incredible environment I’ve gotten a few responses back already and I’m excited to get some storylines brewing!

Pandaria is like a one-of-a-kind land, where nothing you find there was/has been/or ever will be seen in any other environment on azeroth. It is a solitary existence that takes nothing from the other races/lands and in turn gives nothing back.
When you observe the other lands, they all share a similar boundary from the style of plants to the appearance of the sky. You find night elf ruins in dwarven lands, or human settlements mixed with troll architecture. But when you come to pandaria it is nothing but pandaria.
Even the culture and style of music cannot blend with other cultures nor can you RP with outsiders so easily. If a Pandaren guild were to function it would have to function in pandaren lands. It is an unfortunate truth because it is so singular.
Do not get me wrong, though for pandaria is a treasure. I can see it for its value and worth, beyond preserving hence why i never finish the quest for the Emperors Omen and ruin the jade forest or the serpent statue.
I would love to see more guilds incorporate Pandaren characters. But i don’t see it happening in Stormwind or the Alliance at the very least. Horde i have seen it happen many times over.

This was actually the main idea. The true difficulty is in finding people who are willing to roleplay within its bounds.
I have recently stated a guild that is trying to be mainly about a certain aspect from pandaren lore. That being the black market under madam goyas ruling. We will be running a lot of the content in pandaria but will export to other guilds and factions as a way to contact to the wider world of azeroth.
