❓ Interest Check: Multiguild Campaign (Alliance/Neutral?)

The Wolf Cult finished our latest campaign, so we’re in need of something new. In brainstorming, it occurs to me I’ve wanted to try doing a co-op story arc with another guild for a while now.

Any Alliance RP guilds interested in planning a story with us for this season? We typically hold our campaign events at 7pm-10pm pst, on Tuesdays and Fridays. I’ve listed some possible prompts, locations, and method below.

Details

  • Who
    • The Wolf Cult is a worgen guild based on the pro-curse cult from lore, living wild and able to shapeshift. A partner guild could be allies from the get go, or a foe we team up with against a greater evil.

  • What
    • The Twilight’s Hammer is causing problems again. Oh nos!
    • An evil worgen pack - the Followers of Lycanoth - is causing trouble, and the Wolf Cult wants to help put them in the ground.
    • Elune calls, and her children answer, us included. Can they get along long enough to succeed, or will old grudges be their undoing?
    • The use of Arcane has attracted satyr. The Wolf Cult’s favorite prey.
    • Etc

  • When
    • 7pm-10pm pst
    • Tuesdays or Fridays. A weekly event would likely have the best results.

  • Where
    • A few possible locations include, Stormwind, Duskwood, Deadwind Pass, Grizzly Hills, Mt Hyjal, Surwich, Gilneas, Silverpine, Bradensbrook, Stormheim, Boralus, Drustvar, etc.
A zone easily accessible and available to low-levels is ideal, but exotic locations can be a good change of scenery.

  • How
    • Up for discussion. The Wolf Cult uses Dicemaster stats in our campaigns, but simple d20 events would likely work best.
      • Turn order
      • 3hp each
      • Roll above (difficulty) to land a hit

Hey there!

Horde side, but neutral guild here. Had recently started a similar thread! Interest check: multi-week, multi-guild/character campaign?
Could be interesting if the story arc was actualy cross-faction!

Sounds possible, but how might it work cross-faction?

We’re rather neutral as well, in that we have reason to hate (and to work with) both Alliance and Horde. Could be worth looking into, though even with Elixir of Tongues is may be complicated. I saw your thread too. What story ideas are you considering so far?

Its still just a general idea, but in my vision, we would plan the whole thing backwards.

  • A final scenario, which would include various characters or guilds, each with a piece of the puzzle.
  • What are those pieces, and how did we find them?
  • What lead us to look for them?
  • What was the initial prompt that lead each of our characters or guilds on this particular quest?

A discord for one contact per guild/community could be used to hash out details/prompt, and share pertinent info to representatives. Guilds/characters have a specific number of weeks to get their stories to the final chapter, which would happen for everyone at the same date/time/location.
