Alright so Ive tried googling to no avail. Im looking for a macro or something that will give a similar function to the new Interact key in retail. I know there is a keybind for “interact with target” thats available in classic, but that only works if you already have the npc targeted. So what I was wondering is, whether or not there is a way to create a macro that will do basically the same thing. A macro that does something like “Target nearby enemy” “target nearby friendly” “Interact with target” all with one key press
Would also love to have a way to have this work with targeting and looting corpses
or other interactable targets like the orb of translocation in undercity for example
It only works in retail that new function. The old api does not support the new cool way. You can just make a macro like this for attacking.
/Startattack
/cast fireball
All those functions you just wrote are in the keybinds. They are individual commands.
Unless we get a DF Client update with whatever comes after SoM, yeah, we won’t be getting any of those nice new QOL options like interact hotkey, guess we’ll have to see
They should definetly update the Classic client and add those QoL settings for those who want to use them.
Unfortuantely attacking isnt really an issue, i can just tab target and then hit the keybind for my spell, I was hoping to be able to set up a way to do interaction like you can in retail but i suppose thats wishful thinking at the moment, I appreciate your reply ![]()
