Blizzard hasn’t even unlocked all classes for 11/12 races and has recently begun back-pedaling on that. The barriers to a Blood Elf becoming a druid and the commonality of that to justify their appearance would seem to me significantly lower than that of a person needing the ability to make a blood elf bodied elf with tusks on it. There are just too many combinations there and realistically many species may not work with one another that way or may work so rarely as to not make sense to allow players to utilize such things.
(Remember, this is the same company that for over a decade said no high elves because there aren’t enough of them around. High elves, the same group present in numbers in Dalaran and Argent Tourney in Wrath, the same group who comes out again in MoP fighting on the front lines in force, and on and on. Of course they dropped that to create void elves who by definition are a fraction of a fraction of fanatical power-hungry, unwise weirdos who came from a slice of a devastated people because they make up the rules as they go)
It says that she used to have a mohawk and “tusks out to here”. The mechanism for her not having them anymore isn’t brought up at all, so it doesn’t specifically rule out magic (or anything else).
Find it funny that Keanu is playing Shadow. Wonder if Shadow in movie will be based on the Sega CD version (the super pizza cutter edge version with a Honda Shadow and two uzis) or will the movies still borrow from Sonic X and we get the angsty shadow who has a heart of gold but dislikes sonic cause he doesn’t know what it is to truly be alone and suffer with such burdens lol.
I mean both Chromie and Pelagos explicitly state how they magically transitioned, whereas this troll sinply deacribes some physical changes and says she used to be a boy. So the fact that there’s no magic mentioned implies that it might be a regular transition.
I always wondered if trolls comes from Dragons who lost their ability to change back to Dragons or something like that… I did notice that the Zandalari have scales like Dinosaurs… Or maybe completely unrelated… nvm. lol
I think that’s how BNA (Brand New Animal, an anime) said it happens in their universe. I remember a line saying something along the lines of “if a tiger and a lion produce an offspring, it will be either a tiger or a lion - not a liger”.
There’s Garona Halforcen. A viable offspring of orc and human.
I think if Blizzard was to go down this road they would have to add some believable story lines to go with it. Garona was treated like a slave, a second class, this would be an accurate depiction of what many races would call an abomination. This type of story though I think would be cool and very Warcraft, would probably not sit well with the modern inclusion and diversity crowd.
…that’s getting to be a bit much. That isn’t a half-breed, that’s a…quarter-breed? Asking for the patently ridiculous will only garner derisive responses. Try toning it down a bit.
