Are canon and quite common in WoW. There’s goblin and gnome couples, Tauren and pandaren couples, and there’s this one Paladin named Marcus who’s apparently slept with every species under the sun.

Long and short of it, I think it’d be neat if every character in WoW had options that reflect that. Tusked jaws, round/sharp/long/short/animal ears, horns, hooves, skin options, fur, so on and so forth with a size slider as well so you can more accurately reflect your character’s parents.

Is it silly? Sure! But imagine a pandaren with a worgen snout, vulpera ears, and Tauren hooves. It’d be epic. Gnomes with horns. Goblins with Dwarven beards. Tauren with an elven face. The possibilities are endless.

To answer some FAQs,

  1. Yes I am serious. This is canon, you can find interspecies pairs in Azeroth if you look. They’re actually really sweet. I’d take a bit of self-reflection if you’re that icked out.
  2. Source? I listed a couple pairings up at the front.
  3. Have fun! Come up with an OC! Be creative! Don’t yuck folks’ yum.

I question how this one guy is able to get around and accomplish all of this. Sure, I’ve seen it happen - I think we all have in the Broken Isles - but there’s still some disbelief…

I don’t think all of the races in WoW are genetically compatible enough to produce offspring, even if they can… do the deed that traditionally produces offspring with one another.

I feel this thread isn’t serious, but i’m going to give it a serious answer anyways.

  1. Being able to have intercourse is not directly the same as being able to generate offspring.

  2. even if two races can generate offsprings, we dont know how the result would be, for instance, humans with elven ancestry seem to inherit the pointy ears, but the offsprings of orc and draenej just use the orc model.

  3. you would have a lot of work to implement all those options in game, specially with how limited character customization in wow is.

4 ) lorewise, even if most combinations are possible, they would not happrn in a timeframe for we to have adult playable versions of that.

Lol, I am just against beastiality.

Animal-races with a human-like race just feels very wrong to me.

But then again, having sex with the bear druid character from BG3 seems to be a fan favorite, so I’m clearly the minority here.

Because bestiality is… actual animals. Are you calling the sapient nonhuman races animals?

Worgen have human offspring. Worgen traits are not genetic, and therefore wouldn’t be passed onto whatever hellforged nightmare chimera you’d like to see inflicted upon this setting.
