Intentional Failure

Anyone thinking they want this whole experience to be a disaster so they can rub their ‘Walls of No’ in our faces? The lack of preparation for something that was due months ago, is pretty mind-numbing. Im pretty sure me, you, and your friend jimbob could have figured out a way to make this whole release run way smoother. I have a hard time believing the Development team couldnt do any better.

The Wall of No narrative was dead forever when 1.2 million people were watching Classic launch on Twitch. Think of a difference conspiracy theory.

Went pretty smooth for me, other than a bit of server lag.

Even made it almost to level 9 the first day!

Remember the Obama-care servers?

The DC’s are getting out of hand now. FIX THIS S***

It’s not going great. It’s going to total fecal matter. Hours+ queue times, server crashed. Yeah really great. You must LOVE being ripped off.

Some players legit afraid classic will kill retail.

I’ve been playing since noon. No problem. Had like 3 disconnects and reconnected within 10 seconds.

What a terrible failure! :joy:

Uhuh. And when the game crashes and burns, you’ll be playing by yourself.

Players who subbed up just for Classic, meaning they did so the day of, or day before, have been “ripped off” about $0.50-$0.65 so far. Probably spent 25x that much on lunch while complaining about the total failure of Classic launch.

If you and anyone else thinks the majority are gonna stick around if they don’t do something NOW when it’s needed, you my friend, are indeed an imbecile. I WANT this to work out, but giving them free passes all the time leads to the abysmal state of Blizz that the company is in now. YOU are part of the problem. 20 years from now, will WoW exist in the same high standard as the past? I hope so, but the way Activision has them by the balls, they are slowly deteriorating. Hold them to a high standard and if they are up to it, they can be redeemed as a company. Otherwise Activision will swallow them whole and it could have been avoided.

So go ahead, be a fan boy. The company you are sucking up to will be a shell of it’s former self, and idiots are to blame.

Sure thing :monkey:

You really are mentally deficient. If that’s the best you can come up with, I pity anyone that has to be in your presence. Bye bye.

Wow hostile! I guess I can’t commiserate with you on this because I got into Faerlina just fine yesterday and played til 3am.

Or maybe because I didn’t expect anything other than what is currently happening. This is close to how things were in 2004 and why the first month we ended up with about 12 days credited back to our accounts.

But it’s been 24h and some people are complaining like they’ve been unable to play for a week. It’s a bit hyperbolic and in 2-3 days these complaints will seem silly.

I was playing fine yesterday. No reason people should have to sit in queues for 8 hours though to play. They said they had the capabilities to increase the server populations but willfully chose not to which is stupid when you have 10k+ people trying to get on a single server with no options available for those players who already started, to switch. If you really think this launch has gone smoothly in terms of queue times, when every post on here is about the queue, youre a moron.

The game launched last night with a player base that was waaaaay higher than expected. Give it a couple of days and things will be alright.

No, it was a “disaster” (not really, but your word) because they were waiting to see who REALLY wanted to play and who was just dabbling.

The experiment isn’t over yet, either.

For about 10 minutes. It went down VERY fast and keeps going down.

By my estimate, no more wait time problems in about a week when retail tourists leave
