I enjoy PvP in World of Warcraft, especially in battlegrounds and the open world. But when Blizzard develops events to encourage participation, they need to prevent griefing. In areas like the Ashenvale Incursion, high-level players unfairly target low-level ones, ruining their experience. These players aren’t interested in rewards; they just want to spoil the fun for others. Blizzard’s attempts to stop them by making them “honorless” don’t work.
Blizzard can’t control toxic players, but when they promote events to make leveling up more fun, they should protect them from this constant griefing. This kind of griefing is unique to WoW, where victims suffer penalties (rez timers) while the griefers go unpunished.
Read again. This is not about PVP, this is specifically about “griefing”. If you think killing players that can’t fight back over and over again is PVP, then maybe you don’t recognize what this thread is about and you’re maybe part of the problem.
