Intense toxicity among the player base during Incursion questing

I enjoy PvP in World of Warcraft, especially in battlegrounds and the open world. But when Blizzard develops events to encourage participation, they need to prevent griefing. In areas like the Ashenvale Incursion, high-level players unfairly target low-level ones, ruining their experience. These players aren’t interested in rewards; they just want to spoil the fun for others. Blizzard’s attempts to stop them by making them “honorless” don’t work.

Blizzard can’t control toxic players, but when they promote events to make leveling up more fun, they should protect them from this constant griefing. This kind of griefing is unique to WoW, where victims suffer penalties (rez timers) while the griefers go unpunished.

Tell me you’ve never played another mmo without telling me you’ve never played another mmo.

Clearly this man has never been into the wilderness PVP zones in RS

Oh really? Name one where the griefer gets punished and the victim doesn’t…

Why do all these threads complaining about PVP on a PVP server start with…I love PVP but…

Rememer, we’re talking “griefing”, not just regular pvp

Greifing is subjective.
My statement stands though, this is not a unique WoW only situation.

Read again. This is not about PVP, this is specifically about “griefing”. If you think killing players that can’t fight back over and over again is PVP, then maybe you don’t recognize what this thread is about and you’re maybe part of the problem.

All evidence to the contrary.

No, it doesn’t. PVP and griefing are two different things. This is about the toxic gameplay that doesn’t help the game at all.

Except there is no Griefing on PVP servers. At least Griefing how you define it.

Everyone is free game and killing lowbies is a how it’s always been and always will be. World PVP isn’t fair.

So open world pvp and griefing are the same to you eh?

Why is that people come into these threads and defend the people that just love to see others in misery?

I love pvp but I actually don’t love pvp

Killing players 10 levels below you over and over and over and over is griefing. I don’t care how YOU define PVP.

So you haven’t played RS, the game I am using as an example of this behavior not being unique to WoW.

Also, consider a PVE realm next time potentially.

The American Education system represented well in this thread.

It’s not though. It’s childish but well within the scope of what’s allowed on PVP servers.

You are defending toxic game play. You know that right?

You’re crying about getting killed after you rolled on a pvp server.

No such thing on a PvP server unless they’re safe spotting.
