Intel UHD Graphics help

I brought this laptop Windows 11 Laptop, 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD, Intel Celeron N5095 Laptop Computer up too 1920x1080 resolution…first week of this past March…yes I know its not a great system but its all I could afford at the time to be able to play.

Everything went fine when I installed WoW on the system but about 2 weeks ago the graphics started acting up as I was logging into the game…the place were you pick your characters started too go crazy …blacking out …half the page would show the other part was black…so I close down the game using crtl alt del only way I could get past the flicking …rebooted system tried again but same results…same thing close down again but this time I logged into Hearthstone instead and everything went fine could see the game fully on my screen…so I went to try and load in WoW and for some reason WoW loaded just fine.

This has been going on for about 2 weeks now…my system is updated …I even did a clean install of Graphic Drivers…and still getting this dang Flickering as I try to log into WoW…during the log in sometimes I am able to open up the system and change the resolution …sometimes that works sometimes it doesn’t.

I play Palia with no issues…web sites load fine …its just WoW that I am having this huge flicking issue…anyone have any idea what I can do to fix it?

It’s an Intel UHD 620 I believe.

Which version of WoW are you trying to play? That GPU wouldn’t meet the requirements for Dragonflight, but should be just above the minimum for Classic.

Playing Dragonflight real easily…fps are low in the 30 range most times…but I can mine and pick flowers…do pet battles…quest …now if I get around like the Duck boss fight the fps bottom out but come back up…

I can play Hearthstone no issue with any flickering …as I said it what I could afford at the time…I just like to know why the flickering all of sudden showed up two weeks later after installing it.

I can get into the game it just takes a bit of close down and reopen for it to finally stop flicking …sometimes I can adjust the screen resolution to stop it…some times not…

Unfortunately, all of the troubleshooting resources Blizzard provides are geared towards supported hardware. It doesn’t mean you can’t adjust things and get something below minimum spec to run the game, or get lucky and have it work right away. But it does mean that each patch or hotfix applied to the game may result in your GPU not working as well as it did, or at all.

Can it be explained why my system works fine no flicking in other Blizzard games but flicking only in WoW…

If I recall correctly, all of the other game titles, except Diablo IV, have lower system requirements than Dragonflight. However, a standalone GPU is listed as the minimum requirement for most.
