Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool

Who has run this on their OC’d intel system? Holy crap what a stress test.

I watched the GN video about the fake CPUs today, and also ran it for fun. Thermally it’s about the same as CBR23, maybe a tiny bit more intense it seems. I’m on quiet fan profile on my 360, and the CPU bounced off of 90c max. Normally I can do the CBR23 10 minute loop and stay under 90 on a more aggressive fan curve.

My 13700K isn’t OC’d at the moment, but I did remove all power limits so it boosts until it can’t.

Yep, same. :metal:

I blue screened on my first attempt towards the end. I nudged the voltage a half point and then it completed ok. Temps averaged 95ish and briefly hit 99. :grimacing:

Are you running the XMP profile?

What are the steps to do that?

XMP is on, it is DDR5 6000 CL32/38/38/38/96/134 and on 2T.

For power limits just make PL1 and PL2 in BIOS to the maximum value. And current limit to maximum value also. It just stays at 5.3ghz P core and 4.2ghz E core all day until it gets to tjmax and it will throttle. Haven’t encountered it yet, though.

Ever use Intel XTU? It has (or had, been a few years since I used it) a nice stress test that I found more real world for seeing how my HSF performed.

I have used it in the past when I was overclocking, but even then I mostly used ASUS Realbench since it was more punishing and realistic (since it also added GPU workload, giving more realistic CPU thermals from GPU waste heat).

Used to use XTU for a quick and dirty OC instability rule out, but then I just started using Cinebench runs to weed out the obvious failed attempts since it was quicker.
