So characters in WoW can play hearthstone with other characters in WoW. The hearthstone match goes in to an in-game phase, similar style as a pet battle. Perhaps the players erect a chess table like scene when they phase in to a HS game?
It would compel me to play some Hearthstone. I’ve played it only a few times.
I can’t believe it hasn’t already been done.
This could be really cute, but it would take actual effort so it’ll never happen.
Blizz can’t even make an expansion, let alone tweak the game to allow fun little mini games and incentive to socialize.
By advocating this, aren’t you tacitly admitting that existing WoW gameplay is not engaging?
I would play the heck out of it while i wait for the rest of the group/raid. Just dont cover the whole screen with it, or at least let us see the chat
I would give it a shot for sure, it’d be so cool. Especially if we got to sit down at a tavern and play it on a table with some flavor like snacks and ale next to us.
It’s a silly idea but I don’t even know where to BEGIN to list a series of problems with implementing this, haha.
While nothing is technically impossible in the realm of computer software, given how old this engine is, how Blizzard operates, and really - the knowledge over just how silly of a request this sorta is from a technical aspect: It’s going to be literally impossible to ever play Hearthstone inside of WoW

Integration should have been one of the first things they did after release.
“Dont you guys have phones?”
Just sit down, open up your [Hearthstation] in game and log in via your phone! Solved!
and really if your computer can handle it you can just launch Hearthstone at the same time as WoW, I don’t think it stops you
I mean, when you think about it they’re already kinda integrated.
Reminds me of the April Fools joke Blizzard once had about playing Warcraft III in WoW.
I don’t know about integrating Hearthstone but I do believe that there should be more ‘mini-games’ to add more content for others to progress in.
You can play on your tablets too. 
But if they do not, they might have to pull an intern off mobile games! And that would cost us a Raid Tier! <- ActiBlizz Logic.
The problem I see is that Hearthstone was built with Unity 3D instead of Blizzard’s own internal engine, so they would probably need to rewrite the client side of the game from scratch if they wanted to integrate it into WoW. (Or any other game.)
Is that worth the trouble?
I seem to recall, and I don’t know from where, that this was the original intention for the design.
Then they realized it was a great idea or a standalone and have never actually integrated it into WOW.
This makes me sad ;(
If they keep gutting classes and simplifying the game, maybe they will eventually be one and the same.
