Insufficient bag space!

provide the list and i can

Many of us are not sitting on valuable mats, first thing you have to have a big enough stack to make a good profit on the AH
selling items at stack of 2 or 3 of a said item is wasteful
sure ore
herbs stack up fast and they get sold fast but other mats like fish or meats takes time to build of a stack worth getting it too the AH for sale
how I work my mats to sell

They get cheaper as the expansion goes on of course.

Like I said rolling a tailor and making ones own bags is also a solution.

Then bags are free, except for the mats.

lol
Can you guess why that plan fails?

20g-100g each for fish and herbs is pretty much printing money.

It doesn’t get any better than now.

This was one of my best decisions
 Like, ever.
No more getting gouged on bags when wonky AH shenanigans happen plus I can always supply alts with as many huge bags as I want.

But again to make it worth my time stacks have to be at least a large size enough
folks that have just a couple drive the market prices down by trying to get rid of just a few
that is a problem with the market

And exactly why I have a tailor/enchanter

I can’t post links yet, see if I can get this to work

The number on the crafting UI on the right “To Craft:” is what it costs currently to make them.

In the tooltip the “region average daily sold” is how many sell per day on average. This is for Stormrge.

The 36 slot bags cost 16k in mats to make if you have to buy all the mats.

You guys can see all the data for the costs, how many sell average, etc etc,

selling bags at a 6k gold loss per bag is a good way to go broke fast.

herbs and ore are selling MILLIONS of units per day.

someone selling their 2 herbs, or even their 200, for the same price as everyone else isn’t going to move the market in any one direction or the other really.

I forgot Blessing Blossom. /slaps knee. I always forget Blessing Blossom.

I don’t mulch and multi-seed type, yet, because I chose to do the whole Bountiful Harvest dance first. That said, I do fish, and yes
with an herbing and fishing run, that reagent bag can get full. Not usually, but if I stay out for hours, I have on occasion filled up the reagent bag. It’s easily handled (as the reagent bag is entirely supplementary to the standard 4-bag setup we’ve always had). Just stick something in your regular bags. There are 144 available slots up there.

And I still contend with my whole chest that if you routinely fill up 144 slots, you’re carrying stuff with you that ought to be in a bank.

My point is still extremely valid. You’re not filling up all the bags unless you try, and there is bank access, warbank access, mailbox access, and vendor access all over the place. I’ve been floored since Vanilla by the crap people just keep with them in their bags all the time.

Especially with crafting professions, I don’t “get” the holding it all in bags. It makes zero sense to lug around all of your crafting stuff. That’s what the bank and reagent bank are for, and if I were to complain about the space available for storage, it would be the reagent BANK.

That needs options for expansion. I don’t believe anybody needs bigger bags than the ones we have available, and certainly not badly enough to warrant a forum post with exclamation points and low-grade insults to everyone who finds the bag space sufficient for requirements.

(I’m normally a “let people enjoy things the way they want to” and an “everyone is different” kind of player, but OP’s approach to the whole topic is gross.)

You do not want to know what’s in my hunter’s bank (I’ve had her since BC).

My problem is keeping things from previous expansions. “I’m coming back to that” is a normal phrase for me. :disappointed:

i clean my bags the last week of an xpack because its super easy then
 delete everything!

as opposed to doing it in a new xpack and then you have to google everything to make sure its not important.

This is the way. My bags are always clean.

My BANK. Now, that’s another story. Void storage should be a repository for anything from a previous expansion that we want to hold onto but not use regularly. That change should’ve happened ages ago, imo.

I want a place to keep all my legendaries and artifacts that may or may not come out again for timewalking and nothing else but nostalgia. That should’ve been done a long while back, imo

Oh how I wish we could save books and letters in a library! Many is the time I cannot stop to read, and with my faulty memory I need to reread as well. I would like to set some reading material aside for later, but not have it take up bag or bank space.

I think many are hoping for a “lottery win” type sale of some old item that suddenly became popular.

Just from posts in this thread, players look down on making 20g for a fish when they can be selling 200 fish a day for a 4k per day profit just from fishing alone, and thats the “cheap” fish.

If it’s not a lottery win for near gold cap it’s not worth the time lol

For real. Also–speaking of fishing–to sell the fish every day requires a still mind or an audiobook/podcast session b/c you have to stand in one spot long enough to level fishing and then continue to fish in your favorite chosen locations. It’s not a “go here and then go here and then beat all of these other people to it” kind of gain activities.

I learned fishing in Dorn then stood right there and fished to level 300.

Took about 2 hours I think?

Got most all the “rare” fish while doing it , without a fishing pole

Didn’t buy a fishing pole until I earned enough gold to buy the good one selling the fish.

edit: yea, listen to the radio, news casts and audio books while I’m fishing
