Instead of shooting a FWF

… why not make it work like Ancient Drake Breath? Reduce the Freeze Duration and make the condition after consuming 15 Rime Procs.

So instead of…

Ancient Drake Breath
Anima Power
Instant
Requires Death Knight
Icebound Fortitude unleashes an Ancient Drake, freezing all nearby enemies for 7 sec and dealing (300% of Attack power) Frost damage.

to

Ancient Drake Breath
Anima Power
Instant
Requires Death Knight
Consuming 15 Rimes will summon an Ancient Drake, freezing all nearby enemies for 3 sec and dealing (<%FrostwyrmFury.APRatio()%>% of Attack power) Frost damage within 15 yards of the Death Knight.

and along with the 4pc:

(4) Set Bonus: After consuming Rime 15 times you call down Frostwyrm’s Fury on your target at 100% effectiveness.

to

(4) Set Bonus: After consuming Rime 15 times you call down an Ancient Drake that freezes nearby enemies for 3 seconds and dealing Massive Frost Damage.

<%FrostwyrmFury.APRatio()> is currently 337.05% AP Ratio.

This way we don’t accidentally ninja pull mobs with shooting out FWF. Even if ninja pulling a git gud issue, players should realize how complex this game has become with addon bloats and information overload.

This at least keeps the theme and not cause any inconveniences. Plus, you don’t have to allocate into FWF and AZ if you really don’t want to! (You miss out on 2 pc though if you don’t at least allocate FWF :L)

Better than whats proposed for sure.

it probably shouldn’t stun tbh. you could remove the stun part and maybe add some type of damage increase bonus for single target to help improve the set where it’s clearly lacking.

Monks had a recent QOL change to one of their talents, can’t remember which but it was screwing up their positioning but they ended up getting a choice node. If FWF is causing a lot ninjapull issues, then maybe there should be a choice node between FWF and a short range cone ability that does the same damage with the trade-off being less range. That way new FDKs learning the spec can get used to the playstyle before jumping gun with, well, a gun.
