Instead of new cat forms or in addition to new cat forms: customization of older forms

HEAR ME OUT: Instead of just getting new cat forms, could we get where we could customize the colors of the OG cat forms? Like the mane one color, lt fur one color, eyes a different color, markings a different color, etc. I would love to make mine unique as i prefer this form over others. Just an idea :smiley:

Totally agree.

The new ā€œcat formā€ is atrocious and extremely disappointing. Dinosaurs should not have fur. Itā€™s terrifying to look at - and not in a good way

if were gonna do that can we just have the base forms be unlocked for all races and not be race locked. i just want the highmountain/tauren cat form. being able to then customize it would be awesome to

I think it makes sense for each race to still have its own forms but also have all the generic forms accessible to all races.

But allowing true customization of forms would be amazing. You can already do this for drakes, where you can select from different base models and then customize different features on them and of course the barbershop effectively does this for player models so we know the tech is there.
Would also allow for unlockable customizations through doing old or new content giving druids (and shamans for ghost wolf) some more ā€œthingsā€ to do in the game to collect cool new appearance customizations.

Please consider adding the original low res forms from pre wotlk as well. The emerald dream would be the perfect place to find remnants of the past.

That would be nice for example give folks the choice to add armor to their catā€™s like Incarnation Form with different looks one forest wood like one silver metal or so on.

Itā€™s a possibility, on the PTR racial moonkin forms are no longer race locked in the barber shop. All the other forms still are though

Honestly though at this stage of the game druids should technically be able to shapeshift into any cat form that exists in the game. Period.

Just apply the animations to the other forms.

But cat dinosaur raptor thing is also very cool. Iā€™m happy with them getting creative.
