Classic server populations appear to be significantly smaller than they were a year ago. Subscriptions to retail have also fallen way off. ‘They’ may be finally coming to the realization that Wow is no longer the cash cow it once was. Selling services may be a way to prolong the point in time when wow is no more.

TBC is an entirely different game than classic. It will have greater server populations than what we saw during classic and many more people will come back to play TBC. Players are leveling again. My realm had server que the other night during prime time.

The fact that TBC offers Arenas is going to be a huge draw for retail fans. Many people who didn’t want to play classic, definitely want to play TBC.
