Instanced Content Updates in MoP Classic

We have explained, you just don’t like the explanation, or you dismiss the reasons and keep asking for more reasons.

See you in MoP!

Because there is no logical explanation besides just not wanting people who would run LFR to play the game, and they don’t want to admit that because it’s just holding up a neon sign saying “I’m the problem”

LFR is bad you just dont see it breayanna!

I wonder if the thread spam will be about the proving grounds requirement for heroic dungeons if we get WoD classic, thats going to be entertaining.

“We see people doing normal raiding!”

Well yeah because there’s no LFR. And even if there was, it’s not going to take away from normal raiding. It’s an optional thing. It’s perfect for casuals who would never raid otherwise. Those players aren’t suddenly going to schedule their life around a game. It just means…they won’t play.

I’ll be honest, we need proving grounds requirements for Pandaria

I do wish this was a thing. Might thin out all these boosted toons we have been seeing in twilights lately.

Same will happen again in MoP.

it’s not optional. It is on RETAIL not on classic

It’s so mandatory on classic it doesn’t even currently exist. But if it did exist, It’d be so mandatory for… checks my notes… Absolutely nobody. It’s a perceived “mandatory”, but in no way shape or form does it inhibit any players ability to do anything in the game if they do not partake in LFR.

you see the amount of people running AV on anniversary to get the rank 14 gear/weapons? It is not mandatory but everybody still go for it. That’s the nature of classic players

So, just like LFR, the solution would be to remove it entirely right? Or, because its a perceived mandatory, and is not like for example the Legendary’s in Shadowlands where it was 100% mandatory for a player to do Torghast, it should continue to be as it is and if a player wishes to partake in LFR because of their own “mandatory” need, it is still very much optional content. That in no way shape or form inhibits you as a player from doing or partaking in anything else within the game.

people would still need to run it for gear/sets/weapons. You are ignoring the biggest issue here

Just like people would still “need” to run everything else they already run. So what is the difference between the “need” to run A normal Raid… versus “needing” to run an LFR?

I read through all your points to why LFR is bad and its actually laughable. You say it’s because it forces the top players (let’s say 5% of the player base) to feel like they HAVE to Q LFR for more gear. Then in the same breath, say LFR is bad for the community as a whole. That sounds like it’s bad for 5% not the whole community. And that’s THEIR problem they quite literally don’t have to Q LFR. Then you go on to say LFR brings out toxic players… Are you living under a rock, the whole internet is toxic. Such a weird cringe point to make. As if there is no toxicity in all forms of the game.
Just to name a few reasons why LFR is good

  1. obviously its more content
  2. you don’t have to commit to raid times/days
  3. players of all skill levels can see all the raids
  4. PUG/GUILDS might not want to take certain specs/classes
  5. pvpers can raid causally…Thats just to name a few. The bottom line is blizzard most likely couldn’t get LFR to work properly and doesn’t want to come out and say that. but shill harder nerd

All my guildies would be running LFR for the extra gear and me not putting effort into getting that extra gear would make me look bad and lazy

If they have PVE gear, sure, if they rock up to one of my raids with their pvp gear on, I’m either kicking them or calling them out so the RL knows.

This is the first tier that there would have been LFR. Raid participation is simply much higher than it was.

It’s hilarious how in the same post you’re trying to say that more people are doing normal because there’s no LFR and that people would just quit instead of doing normal because there’s no LFR

Those players are vastly fewer in number in Classic.

I bet the raiding participation is much higher now than original mop

And that is why they are QUEING LFR…do I literally have to spell it out for you, holysheet

Or they could do some heroic dungeons instead of pvping on roads in BGs ignoring all objectives.
