Once upon a time wasn’t there a way to add a command to a macro that would allow you to use a consumable or ability based on if your character was in the world or an instance?
It was something to the effect of
/use [instance] consumable
/use class ability 123
It worked similar to dead/nodead and stealth/nostealth. Am I going crazy or did they remove that?
Never existed. I thought there was one for battlegrounds, at some point, but I’m not seeing it in the changelog.

You could try Gello’s Select addon, might give you a convenient workaround for what you’re trying to accomplish.

The battleground one must be the one that I was thinking about and I think that they removed it when PvP consumables could only be used in battlegrounds.
