Came back a few months ago and just noticed that if I am put in as instance leader I can’t change it.
Did they do away with that. Or is that a zperl issue?
I’d rather the tank be lead.

It doesn’t matter for randoms.
It’s a personal preference so it does matter to me

It doesn’t matter in the sense that it has no actual effect on how the dungeon plays out. Nobody is going to listen to you if you’re lead and dungeons don’t last long enough and aren’t hard enough for it to matter. Also, there’s a box you check to opt into the “role” when you queue.
I thought you had to select that before you queue, but i assume if no one selects it, the the person with the most experienced is put as leader. I used to be selected in random pvp all the time, but not lately.

Nope not selected. You used to be able to promote to leader.

I guess you’ll just have to get over it then? If you can’t change lead anyways.
My only advice is to just ignore it. No one cares and usually the person with the most knowledge and bullheadedness will take charge regardless. It means absolutely nothing in random dungeon lfg.
You can always form your own group and make whoever you want lead too!
