I feel like no one should be victim blaming. I also do not feel like people should be accusing others of this.
I can say, that there are undoubtedly woman involved in this case, that are going to use this scandal as a way to get political and financial gain from this case. This doesn’t represent everyone, but some woman will do this. And others will as well, including guys.
no I am telling you nothing in that picture is going to be used in court to prove anything as nothing illegal going on. the whole lawsuit is about sexual harassment specifically the type where men in high places made sexual advances then got rejected then they proceed to retaliate with work related aspects i.e. reduced work hours
This crap here, I cannot stand.
Especially considering these jackasses earn enough to find SOME kind of woman, this is usually some kind of power hungry B.S. play. Not actual attraction. Just the feeling they deserve to be with someone because they chose it.
Like a hen in the hen house thing. It makes life more difficult for the rest of us dogos who are just chasing what we think we want at the time, totally- totally different.
totally different altogether
totally different

That to me can be a very grey area…
Like sleeping with your boss, or landlord, in my opinion, would never be advisable, as it could get messy very fast and very quickly lol

I’m not sure why you want want to hit on a girl at work. Just hit on girls at other works.
I found an “unofficial” server thats actually amazing. Dont despair.
It’s techically a vanilla server, but they’re expanding the story and adding new areas and quests in a way thats more faithful to the original lore. Wait until you see what they’re doing with Outland!
WoW “proper” is dead, but there are friendly communities out there doing the series justice.
I’d say the name of the server but I dont want anyone to get in trouble. Just follow the turtles.
You do realize thats a lot of the same people right…

Like others have said, this is just the tip of the iceberg. Will be interesting to see what else will come out before this is over.
It doesn’t seem like much to me in terms of building a case. Seems more speculative than anything but I’m no lawyer.

At that point Brad was gone and John turned full corporate. No wonder people left
what’s inaccurate about it?
or are people still screaming fake news…
You’d be hard pressed to find someone that doesn’t think Kotaku isn’t a SJW rag. Anyone that’s followed the Vic Mignogna case knows how much Trashtaku excels at hit pieces. However, even a broken clock is right twice a day.
Regardless of anyone’s feelings towards that trash heap of a website, this is about as damning as it gets following mentions of a “Cosby Suite” in the lawsuit documents. It’s one thing to think of it as just stupid reference that got passed around the office. It’s another see a group chat directly referencing the name, as well as a bunch of them posing with a frigging picture of Bill Cosby.
Oh yea, it must be ‘They happen to agree with me’ o’clock.
Before Cosby was even accused, by the way. This is that Kotaku Hit Piece you referred to, but nah they mentioned the thing and therefor must be true.
That picture was taken in 2013. Hannibal Burress brought Cosby into the public eye in 2014, one year later.
And I’m not seeing the particular issue here? It’s a hotel room with booze, and a group of idiots are going to try to get laid. There’s no mention of female employees anywhere in that hit piece.

Just sucks, cause I really had high hopes for them. This could ruin their projects
Once again, Kotaku is an abysmal rag. This isn’t a matter of “they agree with me.”
Bottom line: the lawsuit references a Cosby Suite.
Kotaku has reported on the incident and shown pictures of their group chat making direct reference to it, and them posing with a pic of Cosby.
What you’re doing is ignoring it simply because it’s Kotaku. That’d be like ignoring a 100% serious/fact based story just because it appeared in the National Enquirer or something even more ridiculous/satirical like Weekly World News.
Before? Are you serious?
Cosby was one of those open secrets for years (hence why Buress had it as part of his act) and had allegations reaching as far back as 1965. There was a civil suit in 2005 that he opted to settle on rather than let it go to trial.
Somehow, I get the feeling that you’re going to say that Harvey Weinstein is a model citizen.

Which he wasn’t found guilty. That’s why it was considered a tongue-and-cheek joke. It was only when it went viral in 2014 that people stopped considering it that way.
Context is important.
Except it isn’t honest. Not at the time the picture was taken did any of those people actually consider Bill Cosby was a monster. No one did (except his victims).

Someone can correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t the Cosby thing already settled, and the people associated either disciplined or fired?
Also, wasn’t Ghostcrawler somehow associated, or did I get that wrong?
I see parallels between between the void in leadership in both categories but you are right they are separate issues with a similar symptom only… in much the same way as the sniffles has the same symptoms as pneumonia but are magnitudes different.
I think its equally hypocritic of Bobby to try to conflate LBGT wokeness with illegal workplace practices on bully and harassment, it has nothing to do with nonbinary, transgender or being of color, thats just insincere pandering nonsense in this context, its about ilegal workplace practices around bullying and harassment at the top levels.
The only thing that could hit harder would be if Metzen was named in any of this. I think Ghostcrawlers has acted with great integrity throughout, other than guilty of association I don’t think he has committed any wrongdoings (i.e yeah he should have spoke out against it but in his words he was a junior among his seniors, doesn’t make it right but does make it sympathetic, he gets a pass from me -until I see anything explicitly implicating him) but everyone can make up their own minds.
He was in a facebook group chat and was pictured in a few photos is all I am aware of, he has already said yeah he shoulda spoken up but was a junior at the time among seniors… reading between the lines, there was probably no one who really gave a (&^( about it above him anyway.
He probably left of his own volition when he could for a reason that was not just about the money.
This is a total reach and you know it.
Sure, nothing illegal is going on in the picture itself. However, the investigation done by the state has come across references to a Cosby Suite, which is then mentioned in their lawsuit documents.
However, we now have pictures surfacing of Alex and his buddies posing with a pic of Bill Cosby, not to mention the group chat.
It might not prove anything had happened within that room, but that is an EXTREMELY bad look and it isn’t going to win them any points with a judge/jury.
Mike Morhaime resigned right before the investigation started
