Recently returned to wow and got a 223 of this trinket in the vault. I haven’t chosen yet and just wanted to hear some feedback please. Is it a dps boost, or utility? Is it worth it?

It does different things based on some qualifiers. I know that if someones at <50% it’ll heal them, but most of the time its used at the start of the pull where the only effect possible is: gives a heckin ton of secondary stat like crit, haste, mastery, or vers. For instance, it gives my warrior haste or mastery because those are his two highest secondaries.

It almost has to be a dps increase based on the trinkets you have now, but don’t shadow priests want the ruby?

IQD is for my arcane set cause I don’t have anything better like Ruby or Hymnal for trinkets. I use a WA to track what it will do like execute damage or the type of buff I will get rather than guessing the effect from it.
The vast majority of the time it will give you a huge secondary stat boost. Most of the time it boosts your secondary stat that you have the most in, sometimes it boosts the secondary stat you have the 2nd most in.
I find that only like 5% of the time does it do something else, although it does happen.
Its a good trinket just use it before your burst.

1 thing you should know, if tour current target is in “execute” range(I think it is 20% but not 100% sure) it will do like 40k damage to that target, it might be worse than just the raw stats depending on your class or if you have dps cd going.
Yea the ruby is bis, but this will do for now
I personally love it. You trade a longer trinket CD for versatility. It can be a simple secondary stat boost, execute, or even a full heal when someone is in the red zone.
Should be a nice increase for you and it will certainly do 
I have it but really detest it because it’s on use and really hard to determine how much it helps.
But all the sims and guides say it’s the cats meow.

It does alot of different things depending on the situation. It can either heal the party, give healer mana, do execute phase or give stats. I’ve linked a good weakaura below which will show what it’ll give you when you use it

Yea it’s giving me versatility since I have some left over pvp pieces from the beginning of the season. Once I replace these remaining four pieces with haste and mastery, I can see this being a nasty trinket, especially paired with infusion
