Insane latency on LFR

I’m having a regular game experience in open world, however when i get in LFR I have insane latency over 6 or 7 seconds, imposible to play, what can I do to fix this? I have done internet speed tests and it seems my internet speed is alright.

Hope you can get a response here I’ve been having a similar issue with Cataclysm Classic where the game will entirely lag out and inputs wont work while in dungeons and almost always while the boss is using a large ability and its not an FPS issue the game drops connection and lets me run around and use chat but nothing will change until I login again. Blizzard support is USELESS

Can you relate on how you are experiencing your latency? Do you notice the ping going up, FPS dropping, it takes a little longer to load in? What one person perceives as latency might have different causes.

If it is ping, unfortunately speed of connection does not always denote stability.

Lets start with:

Connection

This includes disconnections, lag, and “rubber banding.”

Note: If you are disconnecting with a specific error message, search for an article or news regarding that error code before proceeding.

  1. Restart your computer before doing any other troubleshooting. This can resolve many program conflicts and other temporary issues
  2. Optimize your internet connection. Your current setup may have issues impacting gameplay
  3. Lag and disconnections are often caused by outdated or broken addons. If you use any addons, do the following:
  4. Update any addons that you use
  5. Try disabling all of your addons. Navigate in-game to Main Menu > Addons > Disable All
  6. If all else fails, fully reset your user interface (UI)

Tried everything here?

If the previous troubleshooting steps didn’t resolve the problem, you can ask the Blizzard player community for help on the tech support forums (if available) or other community gaming sites. Local computer or network technicians may also be able to help if you’ve exhausted all other resources…

If you notice others in the raid also experiencing this, I would report it as a Bug
