Over the last couple of years, I have been farming the “Insane in the Membrane” achievement. I started with the Bloodsail then, once I reached honored with them, spent a few years slowly getting Darkmoon to exalted. With those out of the way, I more recently got Ravenholdt and the four Steamwheedle factions to exalted as well. I got the last of the Steamwheedle reputation a few days ago but, alas, no achievment.
Before anyone asks - yes, it was all done on the same single character. My level with the Bloodsail is currently ‘hated’ as I did all of the Steamwheedle quests, but have confirmed with a GM (as well as more than a dozen Wowhead posts) that the reputations don’t need to be at the required levels at the same time. They just need to have been done at some time on that single character.
Needless to say, after a good few years work, I’m pretty disheartened to find the achievment bugged for some reason. Would love this resolved ASAP. I’ve opened a ticket in case it’s just a problem with my account (I’ve had bugged achievements had to be manually granted before) but no luck or resolution yet. Posting here too in case it’s a larger issue.
At a guess, I’d assume it has something to do with some reputations vanishing (and then reappearing) during the TWW pre-patch or it could be related to the reputation/achievment spam upon login at the moment? But that’s just speculation on my part.
UPDATE: I got a second reply to my ticket regarding this and the GM just started talking about transmog and how I need to “disable filters in my WoW account collection”. That… has nothing to do with what I need help with. Are they using AI now for this or did I get someone who didn’t read my ticket at all?
